55This was a lovely spot with a great longer area for us to play fetch with Fancy. The little treats were a nice touch. I really appreciated the roll of paper towels as well.
55Exactly as expected, Chalupa and I had a nice relaxing visit!
55Loved it! Secure fencing, water, no foxtails
55Lola had a great visit! We will return for sure.
55Good stretch of grass for the dogs to do some running for fetch! We went around noontime and it was mostly if not all shaded. There was a hose we used to refill their water. Very quiet and we had a great time, thank you!
55Loved the treats, toys and TWO water bowls! We had a great morning and we love that you have early early morning Sniffspot hours.

Description

UPDATE 12/17/24 ***Dutter's Dog Run is blocked indefinitely*** ***The City of San Ramon had advised us that we need a permit to operate a Sniffspot here. We are looking into the process to determine if we can and should proceed*** Hello! If your pup needs a private, fenced area to run off-leash, we've got just the spot! Our U-shaped yard has plenty of room to run and play, with lots of areas to sniff and explore. First time guests: use discount code AMBER473 for $5 off your first visit. Treats, toys, water bowls, pooper scooper, and poop bags are provided. In case of mud, everything you need to clean your pup's paws is provided. Hose is available for drinking water, water play, and bathing. Just added: Complimentary Beverage Station! Keurig with an assortment of k-kups and bottled water. Need something else? Just ask! We'll try to accommodate every request. We are new to this and adding amenities as we're learning what our guests want and need. We're not quite ready to get a dog of our own yet, but in the meantime, this amazing yard shouldn't go to waste. We love seeing your cute pups having fun in our yard and especially love when you share photos :)

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside (Update: 7 stairs added)

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
