55us & our dog loved it so much! so much space and things for him to sniff and to get his energy out. we’ll definitely be back regularly!
55Great spot for my fear reactive pup! She ran and ran, smelling all the smells. Eventually I had to put her on leash as she started eating the decaying mushrooms; I've never seen so many in one spot! She's a rescue from the street and has a habit of foraging; nothing a mesh muzzle wouldn't fix to keep her safe in the future. Lots of space to walk and enjoy nature.
55Great spot! My dogs really enjoyed this place and the trees are beautiful! Would recommend and will be back.
55Amazing spot! Love the the trees and little paths.
55Awesome spot!! Dog bags, water, umbrella, balls, towels to wipe feet, etc. Even though it was raining, surprisingly not muddy at all. We definitely will be back - thanks again!
55Super fun Sniff Spot! We especially enjoyed the basketball court, swing, and forest. Very clean, easy to find, and beautiful area. We are definitely coming back!
55My dogs loved traipsing around and chasing after each other at this spot. I felt complelty at ease after seeing that there was secure fencing around the entire property. One of my dogs is very reactive and barky but this place was very quiet so there was very little for him to bark at, and the hosts were very considerate to leave water and fresh towels, and a trash can at convenient spots. It was a very beautiful property with lots of romping room, definitely reccomend it!
55Wonderful spot!! So much space and such a beautiful landscaping job with all the trees.
55Love this place!
55Fully fenced, private, lots of room to run and explore, and no other dogs seen. Perfect spot for my labs who love to play fetch and can be a bit on the reactive side.

Hazards

There is chicken wire under the wooden privacy fencing that could potentially snag a toenail The basketball court has small plastic holes that could also snag a nail. Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
