The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos. We have a beautiful secluded property on the Sespe Creek in Fillmore. We have acres of orange trees and two fully fenced areas. One is a fenced 100 x 200' sand arena with access to water and shade. In this arena there may be a small amount of sheep droppings if we have been training the dogs for sheep herding. There is a second arena that is 80 x 120' with agility equipment and the sheep don't go in that area. Dogs can play off leash and stretch their legs in either area. Please do not move the agility equipment around. You are also welcome to make your way down to the creek and let your pup swim and play. Outside of the fenced arena you are welcome to wander in our orange orchard at the bottom 1/2 of our property but please don't approach any residences or allow your dog to bother the livestock. There are sheep in a fenced area and Tank, our livestock guardian dog, lives with them. *Please note - The sand is pretty soft and dogs love to dig in it. They are welcome to dig but please fill in any holes they dig (it’s as easy as dragging the sand back into the hole with your foot) because they create a tripping hazard for other dogs and people.

Our first time using sniffspot and it was a wonderful visit! Nice big yard, double gated. Very peaceful and great for running and sniffing. Part of the yard was mowed grass and part with tall grasses. We had fun running through both. We met the neighbors’ dog but he seemed friendly and was behind the fence so after a few sniffs and barks we ignored him. Also enjoyed listening to chickens in the distance. We loved that we felt like we were back in the country. It was perfect for our pup meetup and will definitely want to return!

My dogs had an amazing time!! My dogs love fetching the ball so the wide space was great for them to run far and get in all the exercise they need. There are spots of medium tall grass which served as a great mental challenge for them to try to find the ball in the grass maze. There’s a small swing set that’s great to sit and watch the little fur babies smell around and soak up the sun. There’s a little incline in the middle of the field that served as an obstacle for them to come up and down which tired them out more than a flat landscape would. What a fulfilling way to spend my hour. All in all my dogs are gonna sleep good tonight!

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
