Close in town, but yet country setting on dead end road, 15 acres total, dog park is at front entrance on left. We started a smaller one several years ago, but then decided to wait and build a 6ft fence dog park in front and just finished it Sept 21, 2024! Still adding amenities! Will be open 24 hours after lighting is installed, hopefully soon! I only have 1 neighbor w 2 dogs about 1 acre away which they are not out for long, tjere is also a small cabinet shop up front which can be loud sometimes or you may see a person or two. There is a train track but no horn, 2 acre park is at front of my 15 acres. I am here 98 percent of the time, I have a horse, 2 donkeys, 3 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are kept in the house while park is in use, and you may hear them barking, doing their job. Cats are free roaming but usually stay behind house in barn area or on my back porch. We welcome suggestions as well, as everyone may want different things. Occasionally you will see Deer, Owls, Hawks, Buzzards and my horses and donkeys can sometimes be seen but are several acres away. We have several dumpsters that get rented out and you may see them go up and down the driveway when rented. There are some potholes because of this so be careful when coming in. There may also be fire ant hills when it rains along with a large puddle in one corner if it rains alot. I think that covers it!

Really fun and just what I was looking to do with my heeler. Easy to find and easy to get into property. Lots of trails and places to hike. A pond as well. My goofball got zoomies and ran straight into the pond. Fell in at a drop off 😆 He swam back and got out. So funny. Life lessons for dogs. I will be back for sure. Heaven on earth for our dogs. We are so thankful to be able to bring the dogs to this beautiful place. We have been coming here for well over a year and I feel lucky that we can. Our dogs absolutely love it and definitely know when it is time to go there. We love it as much as they do. It's a get away in the country but close to the big city. I agree with whomever stated that this is the best spot in North Texas; at least for my pups and me. With an older girl who is more of a meandering hiker, wade in the water sort these days and a young dude that needs to run and run and run some more, Denise's spot is perfect for both. It's so worth the drive (an hour each way for us) plus I often stop at a little feed shop on the way back to 820 for some special pup treats for the pantry 🐾😎. Best sniff spot ever! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! It has chairs, dog water, water bottles, suscreen, and treats available. We didnt have any problems with the partial fence. The one thing to note is that there were some prickly pear and brair thorns, which wasnt an issue for us but might be if your dog isnt careful. It had nice little trails, a lake, shade and a field area. 10/10 will definitely come back.
