55Our dogs absolutely loved this Sniffspot. Great variety of woods, tall grass, and creek to explore along the few miles of trails. Fair warning, there are some unfenced areas of the trail near the road, pretty loud gunshots heard from neighbors, and humans and dogs had LOTS of burrs and ticks after our visit. All of this was listed and expected, but may not be for everyone. Lauren B.

55Today was our second time here. We only got to use half our time slot because we were behind. (Pups outgrew their harnesses. Had to find replacements on the fly! 😆) But, still worth it, and so glad we made it! It was much needed after many weeks of crappy weather! I have three Great Dane puppies/toddlers…It is worth the drive to get away from trails with other dogs and people so we can be off leash and explore! Such a great way to practice recalls, and pack walking! The only thing I wish is that we could do the longer trail. But, we have to stay away because it opens to the owner’s house with their dogs, and a road… (They mark it on their laminated trail map- helpful so you can avoid if needed.) Other than that one little area, my dogs and I look forward to more time at this place! Megan M.

55We always enjoy coming here! We attempted switchback for the second time and enjoyed it more going downhill but I did spend most of my energy watching for the trail (lots of leaves right now). All the other parts still very easy to follow :)Katherine T.

55Annabelle (my Black & Tan Coonhound) & I visited this gorgeous spot again today & hiked for 2 glorious hours. It was a crisp cool early morning with the fall leaves blowing in the breeze. To say the least we were in heaven. I cannot say enough good things about this SniffSpot. The trails are well marked and you have both woods & fields for your dog to sniff around & enjoy. We saw several squirrels early this morning while there and that put Annabelle's hound dog nose to work. :) Corinna is a great host and answers any messages you send to her promptly. She has clear maps that help you along your way and even snacks in cute painted mailboxes along the trail. This is a spot we will always come back to. Thank you Corinna for sharing your beautiful farm with us. ❤Ronala T.

55Lots of trails for the pups to explore. I don't think we even got through them all! Maps on trees came in quite handy and so did the Outhouse which was very clean. Great place to explore off leash!Trina C.

55This place was exactly as described by the host. I received a message before my visit letting me know that the fields had been mowed and baled for hay, but that the trails would still be visible and they were as described. There was a nice little area at the beginning where you could grab a map of the property and other items you might need from the host. We did get lost while walking in the fields and kept going in a circle and could not find the other part of the trail, but it worked out due to my dog needing some water and a break, so we headed back to the car so she could get a drink. My intention for coming today was to work on off leash training for my 10 month old puppy. This place was perfect for it. It was nice to have space to yourself with different terrain and distractions. I definitely recommend this place and will more than likely bring my other dog one day to explore more of the property.Stephanie L.

55Such a great area. My dogs loved exploring everything! The trails are well marked. We can’t wait to go back and explore some more.
Getting there was delayed bc my gps sent me to the wrong location with the coordinates. I suggest just going to the intersection of Thick and Dowdy and follow the directions from there. Jen B.

55We had a great time! Corinna’s instructions were perfect and she reached out with reminders to make sure our trip went smoothly. My Australian cattle dog LOVED getting to run around in the open fields and even explore off leash on the trails we were able to get to. There are laminated maps at all of the major trail intersections, plus we had a picture of the map from the entrance to the trail. Loved all the snack mailboxes and cute sitting spots. They have really put a lot of thought and detail into developing this property and it was much appreciated! Can’t wait to come back!!Lauren M.

55This is the dream sniff spot, the trails are gorgeous and well marked. With snack stations every so often! Our dogs had an absolute blast. The moss trail was a favorite of ours. After 2 hours here we took advantage of one of their campsites on hip camps. Loved it! Kelsey J.

55Only my second sniffspot experience. I’ll definitely be back! Totally worth the hour drive. I have three Great Danes, two puppies, and one 1.5 y/o foster fail. So, we are practicing recall, pack walking/jogging, etc. It is a challenge to find space with nobody around where we can all roam freely off leash and practice together! The only thing I would say is that there was one section where we came up on road, house, and other dogs… We were on a trail that opened up to it, but we didn’t see the section coming, so we weren’t fully prepared/leashed, as we thought we were deeper in the wooded area. That’s on us, though, as we were new to all of it, and were so happy to be exploring that we were just following a new path without being super conscious about maps, etc… I loved the area, and the written letters telling the family history of the land, the treat boxes, etc…. For being woods and fields I’ve never walked before, it felt like a very homey and inviting land to explore. My dogs were resting peacefully in the ride home, which was so very needed with my work schedule being extra hectic lately, & them all being extra hyper!!! 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10! Curious to know if we covered all of it, or if there was more we may see next time!?! Great first experience! Looking forward to next time! Megan M.

FAQ about our Bell Buckle dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Bell Buckle area are 5 stars.

You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 179 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby.
