Hound Town Dog Park
Enter the Dog Park at Your Own Risk.
You are entering an off-leash dog park.
2. Dog owners or guardians are legally
responsible for any damage, injury, or
illness your dog(s) may cause to itself,
other dogs, other people, or yourself.
The Crystal Lake Park District, their officers,
employees, agents, and volunteers will
not be responsible in any way for people
or their pets while in the dog park.
3. All dogs entering the Hound Town Dog
Park must be registered with the Crystal
Lake Park District.
4. Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated and",healthy.,"5. Puppies under six months of age are not
allowed inside the dog park.
6. Dogs must always wear a collar with",identification.,"7. Dogs in heat are not allowed inside the
dog park.
8. Un-neutered males over the age of six (6)
months are not allowed inside of the dog",park.,"9. Wolves or wolf hybrids are not allowed
inside of the dog park.
10. There is a limit of two dogs per
person/handler at one time.
11. Dogs must always have a handler over
the age of 18 present.
12. An adult must accompany all children.
Children must not run with dogs or chase
them in the dog park. Please remember
this is a dog park and not a playground
for children.
13. Owners or guardians must always carry a
leash. Leash and unleash your dog inside
the double-gated holding area. Never
carry your dog into the dog park.
14. Dog waste must be cleaned up by their
owners at once.
15. Smoking is not allowed on Park District",property.,"16. Alcohol is prohibited inside or outside of
the dog park.
17. Owners or guardians must not leave their
dog(s) unattended or allowed out of
sight. You must always have visual
contact and voice control of your dog.
18. Dogs must not dig holes in the park. This is
a tripping hazard for both the dog and
the owner. Please refill all holes your
dog(s) make.
19. Food items and glass containers are not
allowed in park.
20. Water is provided. Owners need to supply
watering receptacles. Water
receptacles left in the park will be
disposed of.
21. Dog toys are allowed in the park. Toys left
in the park will be disposed of.
Park hours: M-F, 8:30 am-5 pm
Sat, 9:30 am-12 pm
