B's "Birds & Bees" Private Dogpark

It's nestled in the Colored District of Pflugerville. There's a Hispanic and African American cemetery you will pass to enter the property. The field's trees are along the edges so you can see your dog almost across the whole property. There's a 2 car carport and house on the property. Also there are a few trails the animals use along the fence which are seen when the grass gets higher. There is a firepit, parkours and the main attraction is the huge field. Dog walkers, reactive dogs and/or doggie dates are perfect for the spot. The smells, the sniffs and occasional chase of small animals will keep the dogs attention all in a safe controlled environment. I try to keep debris off the spot. I'm always fixing the fence. My main focus for the visitors is please pick up after your dog. There's plenty of bags and a huge green trashcan to put it in. I just added a swung which I'd next to some trees so yall can relax in the shade and not in the grass. There's a green trash can where the doggie poo goes. Attached to that are the poo bags in a clear plastic bag. Next to the green trash can is a rusty metal chair. In that chair are toys, tennis balls, doggie bowls and more. The water hose is on top of a 55 gallon Grey tank, which is close to the house. This tank is less than 8 feet away from the proper gate facing north, which is next to the outdoor water source. Now offering 30 minute time slots because of the heat. RVers are welcome.

Central Texas Bark Park

Park is open from dawn to dusk. Periodic closings on Friday mornings for maintenance. Periodic closings for special events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. It is recommended that animals be spayed and neutered. Female dogs in any stage of heat are not permitted in the dog park. Dogs Showing any signs of aggression must be leashed and removed immediately. Dog owners: Must repair any damage caused by your dog. (i.e. digging holes) No glass containers. Limit 2 dog max per adult. May not bring aggressive dogs, sick dogs, or puppies under 4 months. NO FOOD, except training treats. Must keep park gate closed at all times. Are legally responsible for their dog's behavior. Must clean up all dog waste IMMEDIATELY. Leash must be readily available at all times. It is important that all dogs: Be under voice control. Be leashed while entering and exiting the park. Wear a collar with rabies tag at all times. Have current rabies and other vaccinations.

Dog Park at Purser Family Park

1. All dogs must be on a leash and collar while entering and exiting the dog park. 2. Dogs are not required to be on a leash while in the fenced area of the park. All dogs must be under the control of the owner/handler and there is a limit of 2 dogs per adult at any time. 3. No dog may be left unattended in the park and must be within view of and within voice control of the owner/handler at all times. Dog owners/handler must be physically capable of controlling their dogs and must prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting and aggressive biting. 4. Dogs showing any aggression must be leashed and immediately removed from the park. Dogs with a known history of aggressive or dangerous behavior are prohibited. 5. Dog owners/handlers must carry one leash per each dog under their control. 6. Dogs under 4 months of age are not allowed. 7. Dogs must have current vaccinations. 8. Dogs must be healthy and free of contagious disease and parasites. 9. Dogs in heat are not allowed. 10. Appropriate dog toys are allowed but not toys that are edible such as rawhides and bones. 11. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for picking up and disposing of all of their dog’s waste. 12. Dog owners/handlers must repair any damage caused by their dog (such as holes dug buy the dog). 13. Animals other than dogs are not allowed. 14. The small dog enclosure is only for dogs weighing less than 30 pounds and no large dogs are permitted in the area. The large dog area if for dogs weighing 30 pounds or more. Small dogs are allowed in the large dog enclosure but at their own risk. 15. All children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while in the dog park. 16. The park is subject to closure upon determination by the City that there is a reason deemed to be in the public’s interest or safety or maintenance. 17. Any person who violates the Dog Park Rules may be removed and may be prohibited from returning to or using the park.

The City of Killeen has no liability or responsibility for damage or injuries in the dog park. Park users assume all risks associated with the use of the park and waive liability of the City of Killeen for any injury or damage caused by dogs or humans while accessing or using the park. Animals other than dogs are not allowed. Dogs under 16 weeks of age are not allowed. All dogs must be spayed or neutered. Cedar Bark Park

1. This Facility is for use by dogs, their owners/handlers, and their human guests only. No other animals or uses are permitted. 2. Leashes may be removed inside the fenced Off-Leash Areas of the Facility only. 3. All dogs must be under control and in view of the owner/handler at all times. Dogs must be supervised by persons sixteen (16) years of age or older. 4. All children under sixteen (16) years of age and must be accompanied by an adult responsible for the child’s behavior and safety. Children are not allowed to chase dogs in the Facility. 5. Limit of two (2) dogs per person in the Facility at any time. 6. Dog owners/handlers are liable for any injuries or damage caused by their dogs. 7. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog’s waste, repairing any damage done by their dogs and removing their dog’s toys from the Facility. 8. All dogs must have current vaccinations and registration and must wear a collar with current rabies vaccination and registration tags. Dog owners/handlers must have a current rabies vaccination certificate available and comply with current Cedar Park Animal Control Ordinances. 9. Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs are prohibited in the Facility. Dogs showing any aggressive behavior shall be leashed and removed from the Facility immediately. 10. Dogs under four (4) months of age are not allowed in the Facility. 11. Dogs using the Facility must not be in heat and must be healthy and free of parasites. 12. The small dog Off-Leash Area is for dogs less than thirty (30) pounds only. The large dog OffLeash Area is for dogs weighing thirty (30) pounds or more. Small dogs are permitted in the large dog Off-Leash Area but enter at your own risk. 13. Dog owners/handlers must carry leashes (one per dog) while in the Facility. 14. No food (dog or human) or training treats allowed in the Facility. 15. Glass containers, alcohol and tobacco of any kind are prohibited in the Facility. 16. Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and motorized vehicles are prohibited in the Facility. 17. Professional trainers are not allowed to use the Facility for training purposes.
