Fully fenced it is also a great place to practice off leash recall. The fence is high and secured at the bottom with boards so even small dogs cannot slip through. 55Yard was huge, fence was super secure, pup had a blast. when we arrived we walked the perimeter before letting Kumo off-lead and we did find 2 cooking pots in the yard, one with food still in it. It made it a lot more interesting for them and felt more natural rather than being in a basic field. It was clean (no other dog presents) and big bowl of water was provided. Most important since my dogs are reactive, no other dogs seen or heard!
It's a bit of a drive for me so we can't go back on a regular basis, but we will definitely be back. Only con was spending a few minutes picking burs off the younger, more adventurous one, but a small price to pay for a good time. Tip for others going after wet weather - the bottom part gets a little marshy (but was still reasonable) so wear muck friendly shoes and bring towels for your dog. Jamie R.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
