55So many things to sniff! We can't wait to come back, my dog was very happy here. As is clear in the posting, it is not fully fenced, so I kept my dog on a long leash and he wandered around and sniffed everything with his tail wagging. The ground has a nice texture, pinecones, leaves, and maybe little moles or something that my dog tried to sniff out underground. There's lots of trees and bushes to explore too, and several kind of separate areas of the yard, some sunny and some shady. I did see one nest of bees in the ground, in the corner of the backyard near the hammock. You can see the bees from a few feet away though so just watch your dog and don't let them stick their nose into the nest! Elizabeth S.

So many things to sniff! We can't wait to come back, my dog was very happy here. Very nice centrally located dog oasis inside Brentwood. Owner was very nice and my dog had a great time with the smells and rodents. We went on Oct 21st right before sunset and it was a very nice sunset walk for an hour. Well worth the $10. As mentioned, there are two gaps in the fence at the driveway so keep an eye on your pup!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
