55My dog and I really enjoyed Satchel's Nature Place! There is enough space for a dog to run and play. Also, there is a bucket with toys, water, and a bowl provided at the entrance just in case you forgot any of that. Thanks for an amazing experience!Anastasia Z.

55We drove from Tampa and the drive was easy if you follow the directions provided when you book the spot, not your GPS. Beautiful property, fence is secure. We heard some dogs on a different property but never saw any. Nice trail for the dogs to walk off leash. Great agility equipment for them to drain energy in a shaded area. Most of the property is shaded. My two very active dogs were pooped after 50 minutes, we stayed two hours. I will come back. Sandy T.

55Wonderful spot! Its very well shaded with a secured fence (if my dog could get out he would). Lots of trails to sniff and run and an agility course to play with. Bug spray, water bowl and water bottles provided by host. Also brought my toddler along and he had fun running around after the dogs. We will definitely be back! 55Super easy to find with host instructions. Upon arrival we did hear a dog barking & some other animals, but after the first 5 minutes or so everything got quiet & my pup got curious. He loved all the new smells & having so much space to explore. Definitely suggest walking with your dog as there were some spots in the fence line where had my pup realized he could’ve dug & got out. He was too stimulated to realize though. They do leave some small water bottles out & a bowl. I would check your dog & yourself before leaving for ticks. I found one on my pup. I have a highly anxious pup & the first 5 mins or so we’re rough for him but once he was finally able to calm down he really enjoyed it. I’ll be back again!Kylie S.

55Great spot!
I had to reschedule my initial reservation because I got sick and the host was very gracious! She also reached out to me right away to let me know what issues may present themselves for my small dogs!
I had no trouble getting there but I did use GPS and read the hosts instructions very thoroughly because I’m terrible with directions.
The dogs had a great time. The bug spray, water bowl and water bottles are very courteous. There are also signs all over the place to let you know where you are as you walk, as the space is large.
This is definitely a wooded area / nature trail as the host describes it.
The fencing is great. I have tiny dogs and although they could definitely crawl through by digging, I didn’t let them run too far or roam unattended so we didn’t have a problem.
Overall, we will visit again! It was great to be able to let my dogs off leash without other humans or dogs around to train them and give them some space!

55This place is awesome! I have dog reactive dogs who never get to run free off leash because I’m always scared of them coming into contact with a stranger dog. We loved that the trees provided lots of shade from the 90 degree sun! The property is fully fenced in so I never had to worry about them escaping. This place would be great for recall training. My dogs loved the trails! The area is very clean and well maintained for a forested area. We will definitely be visiting on a regular basis. The host was very helpful with all my questions and her rules and directions were very clear and straight forward.Jenna C.

55We had an amazing visit at this spot. Great directions to find the entrance and plenty of space for my pups to run and play. Felt like an off leash walk in the woods. Pups had a great time having zoomies and climbing in the agility equipment and log piles. Spot was well maintained, clean and provided signage to follow the trails. Will definitely be back! Katie R.

55Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Satchel’s. The dogs played hard and made three trips around the trail. I drove an hour from Lakeland and had no problems finding the spot. I would recommend bringing your own water for you and your dogs. There was a bottle left in the bucket of goodies for when you get there, but I had three dogs with me. However they don’t state to provide water, so I wasn’t expecting it. Awesome place, the dogs loved it. Nice and quiet, plenty of shade, and there were chairs to sit and watch the pups have fun. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back Toni P.

55All four of my dogs had a really nice time. They were particularly fond of the waking trail. The whole property is nicely shaded ☺️ and the owner very kindly accommodated a last minute time change for me. The area is clean and secure.
If you have noise sensitive dogs or are sensitive to gun fire your self just be aware that theres someone on their own property near by shooting what sounds like a variety of weapons. My dogs don't mind gun fire so it wasn't an issue and I don't imagine this is an every day all day thing.
Well worth the drive from Tampa and a novel sniff spot. Most are neighborhood yards or cleared pasture, this one gives dogs a lot more sniffy opportunity. Stephanie S.

55We had a blast today! Living in Florida we don’t find many wood-like places for my pup to let loose and sniff around in. He loves all the trees and leaves. Even attempted some of the agility too!Mary D.

FAQ about our Brooksville dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.

There are 16 dog agility parks in the Brooksville area. The most popular dog agility park is Satchel's Nature Place. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
