55I was so pleased to see a Sniffspot finally pop up near my home and after 5pm for the longer days!
The fenced area has grass and some tree roots from the huge tree. I would say if you have a small or medium pup this is the perfect size yard for zoomies and sprints. If you have large dogs you might find it small they are used to longer stretches of running.
There is a chair by the gate for the human and the owner supplies a water bowl (was filled for us), tennis balls, and a roll of poop bags if you forget yours.
My dogs enjoyed chasing me around the tree, sniffing around, and just meandering.
If you have highly reactive dogs, it's good to note that this is near a road with traffic noises, cars, pedestrians, and bike riders. There is a good bit of distance from the yard to the road though.
Overall we had a great time and i'm so happy there's a yard where my reactive rescue can get some good off leash time w/o random dogs showing up.

FAQ about our Burns dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Burns area are 5 stars.
