If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! This is a working farm! We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. Twisted Creek Farm /Private Dog Park In Huntingtown

We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Finally, we are a community of pet lovers and we all pull together and support each other positively . If you have any issues at all, please reach out to me and I will make it right . We have received 1 out of 100 less than stellar review left simply because our family dog was let out in our front yard totally separate from the Sniffspot for five minutes and I just don’t want there to be any other negative experiences. Thank you!🙂

Dog Park Rules and Regulations o By using this facility, handlers understand and assume all responsibility and liability for the risks of unleashing dog(s) in this facility. Handlers and their dog(s) are using this facility entirely at their own risk. Handlers are responsible and liable for the health, actions and behavior of their dog(s) at all times. Calvert County Government assumes no liability for loss, damage, illness or any injury, sustained by any human or dog while using the dog park. o Maximum of three dogs per handler. o Children under 6 years of age are prohibited from entering the off-leash areas. o An adult, who is responsible for their behavior and well-being, must accompany all children. o Dogs must be leashed upon entering and exiting the dog park. o All dogs must be healthy, vaccinated, licensed and collared with identification. o Dogs in heat are not permitted. o Dogs under four months of age are prohibited. o No animals other than dogs are permitted. o Glass containers prohibited. o Only small hand-held toys (pull, disc, ball, etc.) and folding chairs are permitted within off leash area. o Any items left in the dog park will be removed and discarded at the end of each day including but not limited to chairs and personal items. o Dog handlers must remain in the off-leash area and maintain sight of their dogs as well as voice-command control. o Handlers must stop their dogs from digging and immediately fill any holes their dogs create. o Handlers must pick up animal waste and dispose of properly. o Any dog showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be immediately leashed and removed. o Professional trainers and groomers may not conduct business in the off-leash area. DOG PARK RULES • Dogs are to be monitored. Owners and custodians are legally responsible for the activities of their dog(s) and are prohibited from leaving their dogs unattended. Dogs must be accompanied by a capable and responsible person. • No aggressive dogs allowed. Dogs showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be immediately removed from the park. Other inappropriate behavior (e.g. digging, excessive barking, nipping) should be humanely curbed. • Clean up. Patrons must immediately clean up after their dogs. Bags and trashcans are provided for proper disposal. • Collars and leashes. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting the park. Leashes must be kept in hand at all times.
