Really enjoyed our time at Barn Dance! One of my dogs is reactive to certain people, so this is a fantastic option for those living in the city or on a smaller property to give their dogs room to roam! The hosts were very welcoming and gave us a quick tour, they mentioned there were some areas that were not completely fenced but I didn’t notice them. It was well enclosed and the property well taken care of. A cold water hose was available for drinking and hosing off, plus benches for seating throughout the property. Most of the property is in full sun… there are some corners of the property with shaded nooks, however I would be cognizant of this if you are booking mid-day. Thank you Roland & Nadine. We will be back!

This was my first time ever using a sniff spot. It was a great experience. The owner was there to greet me and show me where I would go he filled a fresh bowl of water for my dog and if I had any questions to just knock on his door. My dog loved the experience as well. I will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Host greeted us in the parking area, he showed us everything and then we were able to get Freckles out for a nice run. overall, a really nice area especially if your dog just wants the space to run. Don't wear open shoes lots of thistles

This was a great spot to enjoy while visiting Calgary for the long weekend. The owner had signs posted so the spot was easy to find. My dogs enjoyed the wide open field and lots of fun was had. I appreciated that there were a few balls as I forgot mine. Will definitely come again when in town for a visit.

Lovely spot for our 2 energetic Border collies and German Shepherd. Balls and launchers as well as a nice seating area plus water for the dogs is awesome. Hosts are great and take good care of their guests.

Beautiful place! Easy to find. Lots of hills and long grass to run through. Benches throughout for the humans to enjoy. Fully secure (we have three Beagles aka escape artists). We will be back.

Wilson loved the wide open space to run and sniff. We forgot his ball, but there was a frisbee there to use, which he loved! The owner greeted us when we arrived and gave us a brief rundown of the fencing around the field. The entrance isn’t fenced, but that wasn’t an issue for us as Wilson has pretty good recall and was too busy exploring everywhere else. We’ll definitely be back!

Well marked and welcoming site at barn dance acres. It was lovely to have access to drinking water for the pup and an outhouse! There are a number of (gopher? Groundhog?) holes, so if your dog is a digger, you may want to consider that. My dog went a bit wild trying to dig for those guys!
