The yard features a 4-foot fence on three sides, with a retaining wall on the fourth that ranges from 4 to 6 feet tall. Below the retaining wall is a small fenced area with a chain-link fence and a patio, which is off-limits for play but can be accessed via steps and a gate to get in and out of our yard, retrieve toys or use the hose. The yard is spacious and filled with plenty of sticks for your pup to enjoy. Comfortable chairs are available for you to relax while your dog roams freely. Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

We’ve got a great fenced in yard in a quiet safe neighborhood with a super comfortable deck with chase lounges, table and chairs and a couch for you to enjoy while your dog chases the squirrels and chipmunks. We have water bowls on site as well as tennis balls to toss and play with your dog. There is even a basketball hoop! (Bring your own basketball ball). Bring your lunch and picnic on our deck! Table with umbrella is on the deck! Deck is handicap accessible! Sniff spot yard has driveway that provides a solid surface for ease of handicap accessibility! Dog parks in town are quite difficult to navigate or even impossible if you are using any form of assisted mobility. You will be thrilled to find our Sniffspot!

Bring your Doggo to come play in our big yard. We don’t use chemicals or pesticides or fertilizers at all. We have woods in the back and occasional deer sightings as well. Let us know what else you want or need. We aim to accommodate. I don’t even care if you pick up after your dog or not! We can handle it.

The yard is partially fenced, so there is many places your dog could get out of the yard. The direct line to the road is fenced though! Please do not use or let your dog in or on the pool. It’s not dog rated. All other areas are open. House does have an outdoor cat on property, he is used to cat aggressive dogs (but only leashed) I don’t know how he’d react to an unleashed dog chasing him. Normally he’s gone during the day or if he knows a dog is in the back yard.

A large pasture with fencing around everywhere except the top of the creek crossing running behind it. Bring a towel and enjoy! The bugs are back so a head screen or bug spray might make you more comfortable. Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! We just added a new 10x16 Covered Gazebo!
