Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

Dog Wood Park sits on 30 acres with at least 18 of those fully fenced. One yard is called Sunny’ Place and it is predominantly obstacles to climb and explore. Sunny was my Parkour pup. Other areas are large hilly pastures offering room to run and lots to sniff! I am a dog lover and trainer and am always adding items that offer enrichment and joy.

Welcome to our private dog park on our 34-acre farm! We’ve fenced in a beautiful area to create a spacious, secure, and fun dog run where your pup can explore off-leash. The entire area is fully fenced for safety, so your dog can play freely. We provide chairs for you to relax in, and there’s a picnic table available just outside the fenced area. Ample parking is available, as we also operate Bear Naked Wood, a woodworking business on the property. Your dog will love playing with the sticks and toys provided, and there’s plenty of room to run!
