Hi, I’m Monet, and this is Happy Tails Farm! We’re all about enjoying life with animals, especially dogs (and chickens :)! The farm is on 15 scenic acres, located just outside of Eugene. We're easily accessed via Fox Hollow, Chambers, or Bailey Hill. Our property has a 3 acre Fully Fenced & mowed private dog park with a view of Spencers Butte! There's some fun stuff out there including giant tractor tires, a straw bale structure (Pumpkin Parkour!), jumps and an agility tunnel. We're always looking for new ideas and love requests! We also have 7+ acres of Partially Fenced nature area with trails, including forest and fields. We recommend keeping your dog on leash while exploring the trails, as the property is not 100% fenced and there can be deer roaming as well! This area is huge and is a very exciting work in progress.

As winter approaches and post- icepocolyps logging winds down, I would like to test a pricing option. For the winter months, at least, I am going to offer sliding scale discounts. The guest can choose their pay rate for sanctuary use based on their moment-to-moment economic status. Discounts are as follows: $2 off (JMSS2); $4 off (JMSS4); $6 off (JMSS6). Enter the discount code (in parentheses) for your desired discount. Just as a reminder, or for new inquiries, the effort and cost to recover/rebuild Jasper Memorial Sanctuary was extensive and expensive. Material costs were over $5000. Labor costs, had I hired all the hours worked, are over $15,000. The price increase for utilizing the Sanctuary is small in comparison to the expenses incurred from the loss (0.1%). Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS/RESTORATION: Approximately 80 damaged/downed trees removed. 40 uprooted stumps ground out 340' of new 5' fencing installed 140' fencing repaired New entrance gate/location created 100s perhaps 1000s of poison oak dug out (it's still present, just fewer) Culvert installed at entrance with gravel path to gate (pending) New signs installed A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location only. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone and the preservation of the environment. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. Jasper Memorial Sanctuary, named in memory of my soul dog Jasper, is no larger than 1.3 acres in and fully fenced. The acreage is a combination of mid-age dense timber, new reforestation, devastation zone and open grass. The area is flanked on two sides by driveway. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀. Be respectful of wildlife. Deer and turkey roam the property and consider the space their home. If there are wild animals in the sanctuary enclosure upon your arrival, please keep your dog(s) on leash until the other animals have vacated the area. Under no circumstance are dogs allowed to chase wildlife. Domestic and rescued animals that live on the property include horses, donkeys, geese and chickens. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 and do not approach any of these animals. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 is about 50' away from the entrance gate. Please keep dog(s) on leash until within the fenced enclosure. 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 - If you have reason to have more than two vehicles for your visit, please contact me prior to reserving for pre-approval. If approved, there will be an "Extra" fee to add to your reservation. Please select the appropriate "Extra" for the number of vehicles approved. During fire season, the sanctuary may need to be closed, appointments cancelled, due to extreme fire danger. Beautiful place! Easy to find and perfect signage. The space is the perfect size for the dogs not to get too far away and there is a tree area and an open space. Plus, the host, Megan, is incredibly kind. It was raining the entire time and yet the pups and I absolutely loved it!

This was wonderful place to bring two pups for an hour! They got to dart around between the trees like Ewoks, romp around the open sections, and stand tall and proud on the tree stumps! One of the dogs is a runner so I kept him on his 20 foot leash to for the first ten minutes or so, and once we’d explored I let him off. The fence is in good shape and it surrounds the area (but if you also have an escape artist for a dog, you know how careful you have to be, lol). This spot was great, today was our first visit and I’m immediately booking another visit!

I think this is my favorite sniff spot in my area to date! The owner was super nice, I didn’t see many people no other dogs and no other animals. There was water buckets that got rotated to be mindful of the respiratory illness going around, a sandbox for digging, lots of different terrain and environment for zooming and sniffing and it was a very nice size not too big or too small, overall it was an amazing spot I can’t wait to return to soon! I had three very happy tired puppies at the end 😆
