Loved it!! It was safe and clean!! The host had everything there to help clean up my pups when we got done !! My dogs had such a great time and I felt comfortable taking them off leash to explode!! Great way to work on recall as well!! We will be going back for sure!!!

What a spectacular place! We have been to loads of sniffspots and Max’s playground is one of the very best! Very safe and lovingly maintained. The hosts are wonderful and really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you would need. It’s such a lovely tribute to their beloved Max. Of course the dogs had so much fun and were very tired. Can’t wait to come back

The 2nd time visiting Max’s playground was just as fun as the first. Going near sunset, we got to see some cattle in the adjacent field which were far enough away that my dog was able to calmly view them (she’s a cattle dog mix which is fun). Beautiful property and kind owners. I hope others continue to respect this Sniffspot for as long as they’ll have us 😊 Working on recall proved to be a little tough because of all the amazing smells but we were able to do some training in the midst of decompressing.

Another PERFECT & EXCELLENT visit for Hank! Sadly, I was not able to be there today, but my girlfriend said Mr. Hank had another wonderful time at Max's Playground! I can't say enough good things about this spot and the wonderful couple that have opened their hearts to all of the dogs that don't get to run and play as much as they deserve. This was Hank's 2nd visit and we all intend to keep coming back to the best SniffSpot in the world for as long as Max's Playground will have us. Thank you so very much for another fantastic visit. An absolute gem! I am definitely on the cautious side when it comes to my dog, but the fencing and set up made me feel at ease letting her off leash. I cannot recommend this location enough for your dogs!

Such a great space for our two big dogs! There are paths to explore and open spaces to run, everything was fully fenced and they had everything you could need.

My pup had a wonderful time here! Lots of land to roam around and things to sniff. He is usually one to quit and head back to the car early on these types of adventures but he stayed the whole time and had so much fun!

Very beautiful land! It was so nice to have a hose, towels, brushes to clean up after. We felt very comfortable and there is so much to explore. The pups loved it and we will definitely return!

The hosts were absolutely lovely and our dog, Hank, LOVED his very first experience being off leash since we adopted him 3 years ago. My girlfriend was noticeably worried about him being off leash, as Hank can have selective hearing, and we live in an apartment setting, where Hank has almost gotten away a couple of times. Dog owners, DO NOT WORRY! The fencing that borders all of Max's Playground is not only complete, but sturdy, with no gaps that I could see, at all. The hosts go above and beyond with the amenities that they provide. In addition, they donate the money from this endeavor to local animal shelters, which is very admirable and respectable. I normally never write reviews, but Max's Playground certainly deserves the best review possible. Max's Playground is a gift to Hank, and the local community of dog lovers, in general. I can only hope that everyone who visits Max's Playground remains respectful of Max's Playground. This will ensure that Hank (and everyone else's dog) can enjoy the memory of Max and the playground he left behind for other dogs to enjoy for years to come. I will be purchasing a subscription for Hank to become a regular. To be honest, it is difficult to see the good in the world today, but Max's Playground, and all of the work that went into honoring his memory, makes me smile. Hats off to this project, to Max's owners, and above all, to Max. Rest easy, my friend. Although I never met you, I am sure this is how you would want everyone to remember you. Hank will carry the torch and patrol for any rabbits, squirrels, etc. when he visits. As for Delbert, he misses you terribly, Max. He did turn his tears into something beautiful, though. We absolutely loved our visit with our boys to Max’s Playground. The trails were maintained and there was freshwater for them to drink. We felt our boys were safe and secure as the area is fenced in completely. There is plenty of shade and places to sit. They even had a baby pool that our dogs enjoyed. It really is a beautiful property that we ourselves enjoyed walking . We definitely will be back.

Such a great spot!!!! My dog can be reactive around other dogs and I would never trust public dog parks anyways The land is beautiful and the trails are amazing. Great to be able to go back and forth between hiking and throwing the tennis ball Awesome amenities from multiple water bowl spots to trash cans, toys to use and even a little grooming station afterwards!! My pup was definitely tired afterwards!! Will ABSOLUTELY be returning

Fantastic!! Nice rural, quiet yet safe space. Wide mowed trails, lots of "watering holes" for the pups and hosts are super. Dogs had lots of fun and completely wore out!! Looking forward to future visits!!

This place was amazing and the hosts are incredible and just the nicest people you’ll ever meet. You can tell they really enjoy sharing this spot in honor of their dog. Our dogs had so much fun running off leash and we enjoyed walking the trails and seeing the beautiful space they’ve created. We will definitely be back!

I am a veterinary nurse of 40 years, a specialist is animal behavior and a professional animal trainer. Taking your dog to Max’s Private Dog Park is the single best thing you can do to improve the mental, emotional, and physical health of yourself and your dog. The only thing missing were unicorns and I suspect they are there and I haven’t seen them yet. 🐕🦄❤️
