You will enjoy an acre of flat grass land that is kept short for you and your pets safety. We have beautiful comfortable benches and chairs set throughout our park! Welcome to our private farm! We live on site and will close our main gate once guests enter, ensuring the property is secure. Please inform us if there will be more than one car so I won't close the gate too soon. The pasture is fully fenced, partly with 4 board fencing, and partly with horse safe wire fencing along main road and wooden panels against neighboring property. Our current pasture is 3 acres with mainly open fields and a few trees and bushes. When it rains, there can be a small creek down by the road. The neighbor has a small dog that comes out on occasion, but there are panels on the fencing between our properties, so dogs won't be able to see through. We have a German Shepherd dog on site, but will keep her inside during guest appointments. To access the entrance, guests will need to drive past the main house, go to the right and up the hill towards the barnyard. Buildings in barnyard are not available for guests except for use of the hose, which is marked. Located in the upper barn breezeway ( concrete floor) to the left of the parking site. Hose available. Signs are provided to help guests find the hose area, park entry, and parking. Guests: please feel free to move the chairs as needed to stay in the shade or sun for your comfort!

You will be driving on a dirt/gravel path, will park on grass/dirt, and may cross the small creek by foot. Conditions get muddy and access changes during wet weather, so please be prepared to follow posted signage. 𝟐) Access to the property requires unlatching and opening a drive-through gate. 𝟑) Access to the fenced Sniffspot requires parking before a small creek crossing and walking leashed dog over creek and about 500 feet along mowed path OR driving across the creek and parking by Sniffspot gated entrance. The choice is left to visitor discretion, but it is STRONGLY recommended that low-clearance vehicles (sedans, vans, etc) do NOT drive over the creek. This part of the property has several cedar glades, marked hiking trails, karst topography, a seasonal creek, a variety of wildlife, and several benches (one converts to a picnic table) available for guests. We’ve developed and are continually maintaining trails across our property. Some of the trails are wide and open and give you great access to the beautiful pastures. Other trails are narrow and twist through the unendingly interesting woods. All trails have names and are identified with signs and posted maps. The woods trails are also marked with flags and ribbons to help you stay on track. The terrain varies from flat and open to hilly and wooded. If you need the fresh air, chance to recharge, and time to explore as much as your pup, this is the place for you! Our property is unfenced, and there are some neighbor homes near the property lines. An idyllic setting offers 7+ park-like acres of old farm land, mostly fenced, that includes waterfront access to Mill Creek with adventures for all kinds of humans and dogs to enjoy activities like playing, running, sniffing, digging and playing in the water. Come get your steps in and spend some quality off-leash time! Training, photo shoots, picnics, birthday and gotcha parties, just explore, rest, or relax in the Adirondack chairs while your dogs sniff, zoom, roam, retrieve, sniff, dig, walk, run, and sniff some more. There's creek access to swim, pastures to nap, play areas of tall grass the dogs can explore, dig or derp around. Even plan your picnic on a blanket or use the picnic table. Get some exercise on the trampoline (Note: use at your own risk!). Make this sniffspot your private oasis for as long as you want.. Kids are always welcome! Just book your play time, bring at least one dog and all humans are free! Mill Creek borders the very back of the property and is available for water play but trees and vegetation and overall acreage makes it easily avoidable if that's not your thing. If you choose to venture to the creek and have a runner, you may want to bring a long lead. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend consider walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. 7Acres Challenge: See if you can find the hidden steps! A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case! I live on a lovely 11 acre total farm with a few different open spaces that are perfect for letting pups run, play, chill and enjoy the peaceful setting here. Holly Bark Hills boasts over 9 acres of woodland area for your dog to romp around in! There are two accessible creeks on either side of the property. This spot would be perfect for a dog that has good recall. There are dogs present (in kennels) but they can be put inside if needed. Chickens are present as well in a secure coop. Both are near the house so can easily be avoided if needed.

My backyard is half shaded and half sunny with lush grass, 8ft fencing, a double gate, and huge with lots of area to explore. Let your dog run off leash in this 0.34 acre fully fenced land while you soak your worries away in our hot tub after a quick workout in our HIIT/Weight lifting gym. Then take your dog for a short (or long) hike off our backyard in the majestic wetlands of Shelby park.

There's a historic spring and small creek on the property in the woods ,larger creek nearby ,I would want u to clean up after your pet planning to build a walkway to spring soon

We created this environment for our rescue dogs and are happy to offer it to others who may benefit from its use.

We have a 5ft tall fence as we have 2 large dogs and 2 cats(that will stay inside during your visit). We do not use any chemicals in our yard so while we keep our grass low, please be sure to have flea & tick prevention for your pet(s). If you are concerned about bugs, we do have bug repellent and a mesh tent that can be utilized if needed. There is a covered back porch with a table and chairs available and access to electricity and wifi(fiber). I do dog grooming in my spare time and have everything needed to get your dog clean for an extra fee if you’d like. We do not have any muddy areas besides under our back porch but we have installed a French drain in order to keep the moisture down near there. Under our porch is where we store wheel barrows and other items to help deter our dogs from going under there. Please make sure your dogs are utd on vaccinations such as parvo and bordetella, which are highly contagious. We’d like to keep our space safe :) I am a certified veterinary assistant as well and know how to administer first aid. We do have a veterinary clinic just 10 mins away if there are any accidents. Come enjoy a safe space with plenty room to run! We are new to sniff spot but hope to add more fun things and make our space more enjoyable depending on how many pups we get to host 🤗

I have a huge backyard with plenty of room for your dog to run around, play fresby, or whatever thy enjoy.

I have a fenced in yard that is fully secured as I have 2 dogs of my own , I am home 99.9% of the time , there is a kids olayset as well as a fire pit , you can have access to WiFi as well as a bathroom if I’m home at the time of service , there is also a fire pit , there is a hose out back you can use to fill a dog bowl for water.

Hi! We have 4 acres in front of our home that has 6-8 trees you can rest under while Fido plays and runs. We have a parking spot near the house for your convenience that is easily accessible to the yard for your pup to hop out and run! We hope you like W I D E open space because that’s what we have!!
