With sweeping views of the entire valley, this spot sits high above Highway 10 and the Yakima river about 1 mile up a gravel road. Minimum traffic assures your dogs safety. The spot has natural grasses and brush so long pants are suggested. Dogs and their humans will be supplied a cooler of bottled water, dog bowls, tennis balls, poop bags and a small garbage can. Two Adirondack chairs are there for you to lounge in and take in the view while your dogs explore the space!

What a beautiful, peaceful location! Our dog loved the lush fields for playing fetch. We walked all 3 pastures, enjoyed some relaxation time in the Adirondack chairs… and generally just soaked up the beauty! An absolute treat!

Amazing and beautiful place! We had tons of fun. Elphie loved running in the pastures, exploring the ponds, and trying out the agility equipment! We will definitely be back and hopefully next time with a friend! Fencing was more than secure enough for us, a true escape artist may be able to get out at the driveway gate. For people worried about the white fencing from the pictures that is interior fencing and there is additional hog wire (or similar) along the exterior. Really fun large property, owners of dogs without a recall might be chasing their dog around a bit, but should be safe. For reactive dog owners, we only saw one car drive by and only heard dogs when we are on the far edge of the pasture by the driveway all the way up the hill.

Grassy, relaxed and beautiful location with a pond. Feels isolated, but easy to get there. Our Hurley is dog reactive so finding him a safe place to run free can be challenging. Dog Nirvana supplies this. He will be worn out the rest of the day!

Laurie was exceptionally responsive and very kind when I was confused about how to enter the property and where to park. We got that cleared up fast and then our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed their hour on this beautiful and impeccably maintained property. Everything was as represented and the amenities were thoughtful. My only comment was that the lower rails on the horse fencing in the two lower pastures were too high to contain our water obsessed shorty. This wasn’t a safety issue in terms of traffic or other animals, but he kept darting under the fence to get to the pond. This would not be an issue for a larger dog or one that doesn’t lose its mind in the presence of water. The upper pasture with its mesh fencing was a better choice for us an amply big to enjoy. What a fabulous spot. Highly Recommend!!! I have been looking for an alternative to “day care” this has changed our life. This spot was so much fun for our 3 puppies who are in training to be service dogs. The puppies had so much space to chase each other. They explored the agility equipment which was a great new exposure. The pond was super fun even though it was poring rain the whole time. I look forward to visiting again!

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
