Hi there! We moved here to 1) be in the country 2) have no neighbors 3) give our animals the best life they can have. The happiness of our dogs has grown exponentially since living here... so much so that we added 3 more dogs to give a life of happiness to. Our 5 (plus goats and cats) have thrived in this area. To the right of the driveway, there is a flat ground with a creek that runs through it. Deep enough to swim in but there are also places shallow enough to walk through. This yard is a pasture for part of the year and landscaping is maintained by a herd of cows. To the left of the driveway, there are grassy/wooded hills/bluffs that lead to a wide open field. We do not allow hunting or fishing on our property, strictly used for our animals. We don't leash our dogs and don't expect you to feel the need to. We have pheasants, muskrats, squirrels, raccoons, opposums, deer, the whole shebang. Our land is quiet and peaceful, it has been an amazing place for us to bond with our animals. We would love to host others in order to do the same. Feel free to drop by, parking available in the grass by the driveway, there is no designated area. We ask that you fo not come up to the driveway unless there is an emergency. We do not have very good (if any) cell service around us. Our wifi doesn't reach far and will not be available to guests. This is a time to enjoy the outdoors and companionship with your dog!! The roads surrounding our property have VERY low traffic and are safe to walk/bike on as well. There's not a neighbor in the valley that doesn't have a dog... it's a doggie heaven out here.
Just a nice little fenced-in backyard in the “Ghetto” 😉
An acre of land to frolic in and sniff out wildlife.
We have approximately 1.3 acres of fenced land broken into 2 areas: a smaller pasture, perfect for playing fetch and tag; and a 1 acre mature apple orchard, which is great for sniffs in the shade. And don't forget to stop at Rural Route 1 Popcorn afterwards for a treat!
In the summer, we have a kiddie pool for the pups to cool off in. During warmer months there is a hose hooked up to fill a water bowl. Lots of room to roam and dog toys already scattered about the Yard! Feel free to play fetch, but leave for our next guests. If there are kids toys out, your children may use at your own risk. We do have 2 dogs of our own that will likely bark out the window. They are friendly and well socialized but jealous they aren't playing too! We also have cats that may be sitting in a window.
Very big backyard with vinyl fence. Lots of room to run and play and occasionally we will take individual walks around the block.
Chewee, sandibean and the gang would like to invite your fur baby to come by and sniff til your hearts content! My dog mom has filter water, lots of bushes, trees, and toys for us to share. Or you can come and hang out solo, and I'll (chewee) be happy to sniff after you! The back yard has two gates, so if we need to have our own space while we look at one another we can! Dogs, cats, goats, piggies!! All are welcome!!
A place of love and respect
Basic fenced yard for dogs to run in! Working on improvements throughout the late winter/spring.
My yard and deck are perfect for a pet to run around, get exercisers, potty or just relax. It is part shade and sun depending on the time of day. It is also pretty private with pines along one side and a bigger tree too.
