Once you drive into the space and park by a tree (you have to get out the car to open the gate) and get to park by shade, you do a small hike to the Grove hike. You would need half an hour to do the hike back and forth but there is also a smaller looping trail to the right and dead ends. We reserved an hour and a half just in case. We explored the trail to the right but at one point went higher and I guess went out the loop (host mentioned a loop) so suggesting an extra sign to not go too high up…!Overall, the grove trail was cute- had enough shade on this hot day and we say an hour is enough- but if you would like extra time to let the pups/your pet rest more is fine too. It can take a good 20-30 min each way depending on your pace to reach the stream so book your visit with that in mind. Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
