**SNOW DAY! We are OPEN, but very snowy! Our driveway is clear and salted (pet safe ice melt). Inside the yards is not shoveled, so enjoy the snow! The chairs will be cleared off but we recommend staying off the picnic tables. They get icy.** Come visit us on our 9 acre farm, surrounded by farmland with no view of roads, dogs, or passersby! Large fully fenced play field perfect for chuck-it, frisbee, or just hanging out. Seating, shade, and raised beds available so you and your pup can take a breather. Check the extras for pools (seasonal) and agility equipment! One large former horse pasture surrounded by split-rail fencing for dogs who are on leash (or reliable off-leash) to sniff, hike and play in. PLEASE NOTE: Our Spot does not have good lighting. We will be adding some solar lights soon, but in the meantime be aware of when the sun sets before you make an evening appointment. THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT over the last few months, we've just purchased a propane fire pit we'll be adding to the spot! Next on the list: Adirondack chairs for around the fire, flooring for a new play area inside the barn (NOT AVAILABLE YET), and fencing in the large pasture. 🥰

We are open to visitors using our 12 acres of open field space, 3 acre pond, almost a half mile of stream, and 3 acres of woods. Trails move you around the pond and up into the woods. There is a lot to do here and a plethora of activities for dogs and humans ranging from open field play and running, hiking, and water activities. Please follow the signs and do not disturb the owners at house. Beach area of pond has seating areas, hammock, and fire pit. There is also a seating area and rope swing. Visitors are not permitted to fish in pond. The Ridge Trail is a bit more difficult for older dogs and humans and/or people not in the best shape to hike. Proceed with caution. CERTAINLY, please take the map provided at the entry table.

0.5 acre fully fenced in yard in the Hanover Borough. Relax by the fire pit under the lights or in the shade on our ample seating arrangements while your pup or pups run around the yard. Lawn is well maintained and poop is cleaned up regularly using provided poop bags for deposit. Separate gate and private back parking with alley access lends itself to a private yard that any pup would enjoy, along with private parking for the pup “paw-ents.” Water bowls are provided and can be filled using the back tap. Trees provide a sense of privacy right in the heart of the Borough. The 5 ft tall fence and yard area provides an area for running that any dog would enjoy! Treats are provided for the pups to top off the experience!

I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. Thank you 📣l 💩 We’ve noticed an increase in the amount of guests not picking up their dog’s poop. As a reminder, we require all guests to clean up before they leave. If you don’t want to clean up, we offer an extra called “Poop Patrol”, you can add this on to your visit and we will clean up for you. If we continue to have issues with poop not getting cleaned up, we will need to increase the price of our spot to compensate us for the additional time we have to spend cleaning up between visits. We don’t want to have to do this, so please be respectful and clean up the 💩 📍I believe the neighbors behind us got a new dog and they like to bark. Our fences do not touch, there is probably 10 feet of distance between our fences so there is no worries about fighting through the fence, but you may hear barking sometimes. They will eventually bring the dog in when the barking becomes too much 📍We laid some hay in and around the play area to help with the mud and protect the grass. 📍 We replaced the blue picnic table that was under the canopy with a couch and chair. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

Complete freedom to roam on 30 acres with a bonus that our land is surrounded by another 200+ acres of electric company owned land with no roads, no cars, no neighbors… just grass and forest. We have a Google Earth picture roughly showing the property lines and the driveway for you to use while exploring. We ask that you please stay out of the treeline to the right of the driveway as you drive up the hill It's the neighbor's property and it's marked by no trespassing signs. There is no house on the property. Just a camper and a shed. Park anywhere on the road or at the big circle at the top (near the farm office.) We have wifi near the brown shed at the top of the road. Your dogs will be tired after this trip, we promise. As of April 1st there are no animals or livestock on site except for a few bee hives on the property. Most often, the owner is not on site but may do some maintenance time to time. If you see him, he will wave hello… Rest assured he will not approach your dogs unless you approach him. We understand reactive dogs.

Nestled in the middle of a 200acre farm this peaceful setting is dog heaven. Brand new 6 foot high mesh fencing with 6 foot high double mesh gates keep all dogs safe and secure. There is a shelter with windows that open to allow a breeze on a hot day. Chairs and other amenities make this location comfortable year round. Just a few miles from I270 and convenient to Clarksburg, Rockville, Germantown, Gaithersburg and surrounding areas.

I have a roughly 800 square ft yard with fencing all around. 😊 I also have a bench, chairs, and firepit available for use (must bring own wood). My porch is screened in as well with seating and a table, but I would appreciate extra notice if you plan to be up there using it. There is also parking for 1 car in front of the gate to the yard (which is the entry/exit), and a playground also directly across the street ! You are welcome to come in and use my restroom if I am home, otherwise there are porta potties by the playground. The trash can is by the road. (Yellow lid is recycling)

Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you and please reach out if you need anything special or want to chat before coming.

Egypt (our 3 yo black golden) loves to makes new friends and is very submissive. Homemade dog treats for sake when available.
