This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

Amazing spot! My dog had the time of her life being able to explore freely and chase a couple pheasants that she found in the pen. We went while the ground was still pretty frozen, so the mud was a nonissue. I’m glad we brought water because my dog was running for the entire hour. Tom was very responsive when we had some trouble finding the entrance and parking and we look forward to coming again!

My dogs absolutely loved this place. So much for them to smell and explore. My male dog is not trustworthy off leash, so having a place that’s big enough that he thinks he is, but still penned in was amazing. The fence was secure and high enough he didn’t try going over. They got to flush two pheasants! Definitely coming back again. We did notice some onions and carrots left out by the barn, so just a heads up there may be some food left out for wildlife. But I was able to get my dogs moving past without anyone chowing down.

Location was a bit further down than what the given address was but it was easy enough to find! My dogs had an absolute blast and luckily I brought a towel along to dry them off from their run in with the wet patches. For my peace of mind I walked the fence line and the fence was secure everywhere! I absolutely recommend this spot if you are looking for space to let your dogs run in unbothered!

Very nice, completely fenced in property. Even the small gaps between the barn and the fence posts were fenced off so dogs cant sneak through! My dogs had a blast. We visited after a few days of rain so it was a bit muddy, I would recommend wearing hiking boots unless its been really dry. Great place to let your dogs roam off leash where there are no people oe other dogs to worry about. Overall, very nice place, my pups were tired out after our visit. We would go back!

I haven’t had this much fun with my dog in a long time. My girl is reactive and often loves to follow a good scent. This place was full of fun places for her to track things and her nose never left the ground. We saw some rabbits which she had fun chasing but she not quite fast enough to catch them. BEST Sniffspot EVER!!!!! If you have a high-energy dog, this is the place for her! She got to rip n run to her heart's content! First time on SniffSpot and first visit to the Beagle Boot Camp. Other reviews were spot on - great place with conifers, brush piles, mowed paths, a couple of look-out platforms and solid fencing. My girl had a great time running free, flushed at least one rabbit and got to chase it unrestricted. There were a couple of low spots/tractor ruts that had water in them which she also delighted in splashing through! Just remember to bring water for your pooch if it's dry, and bug spray when the mosquitos emerge. A nice bonus was seeing half dozen sandhill cranes in a field behind the camp. Will definitely go back and yes, it's worth the drive.

The trails are well-kept and I received a pinpoint on the map with detailed instructions making locating the spot a breeze. There was also a ton of flexibility when my plans changed, altering arrival time, so I was appreciative of that! The location is remote and quiet other than agricultural sounds from the road. Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.

How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
