For a unique touch, our friendly horse is nearby in a separate fenced area in the barn, adding a bit of farm charm to your dog’s adventure. It’s a peaceful and private spot for dogs to roam freely, unwind, or play to their heart’s content. Whether you’re looking for a safe place to let your dog run or just want a change of scenery, we welcome you to enjoy our property! For just an extra $5 charge, we will set up a fire for you to sit around and enjoy while your puppy is having pleasant adventure. You can bring some s’mores and sausages to grill over the flames and enjoy. Fire and sticks on us! DISCLAIMER!!! Since this space is in a horse farm and shared with the horses, you may see horse manure around. We do our best to clean all up before your visit, however, this a 2 acre land we probably won’t get to clean up completely everyday. Please keep this in mind before booking our farm like spot for your next visit 😊

Ahh how perfect was this! It was a great amount of space for the dog to run around in. There must have had some amazing smells because he was moving slow and sniffing LOTS on the way in. After he got lots of sniffing in, he happily bounded along the many little trails. Thanks for a great space!

What a great day! The pups enjoyed their sniffs and wrestles. The trails were cute, and we loved the detail of adding old toys and decor to mark the trails so we knew where we had been before. The field was a perfect size to throw a ball for a game of chase. Shawna was very responsive, and did a great job ensuring we knew where to go when we entered and were on the spot. We will be back!

I’m always so stressed when I’m out with my pups since they are not a fan of other dogs . Being able to let them run and be able to relax is a reactive moms DREAM . The property is so clean , beautiful and so peaceful. Little piece of paradise ! Dogs had an absolute blast running around and rolling in the grass . We can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful and quiet area to take your pups! Mine had a blast running in the open area and the little side trails. Such a cute spot. Shawna was kind enough to let me book last minute and it worked out perfectly! She provides a waste bin, towels, and water which is amazing! Would highly recommend :)

Lua had so much fun at Freedom Farm and Shawna was very helpful with the directions. There were towels, toys, water, and a bin near the off leash area. Lua is an anxious dog but she had a great time playing and sniffing around the area. The trail is a good spot for your dog to decompress after playing.

Another beautiful day at the freedom farm!! It’s our favourite place to go now. So well taken care of and peaceful. Shawna is so wonderful and attentive to messages. The seats she supply’s are perfect as we sat in the sun while the dogs ran around. We are very grateful we found this incredible spot!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?

All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
