Come explore the hay fields of Three Oaks Farm! We are a family owned beef and pork producer on 124 acres in Fort Edward, NY and would like to share our fields with you and your dog(s)! Enjoy private, mowed paths while the hay is growing, or a completely open field that’s great for frisbee when it’s cut! This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. Feel free to park in the grass close to the field road or on the field road itself- it matters not to us. **The east portion of the field does have 2 paddocks of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves and large pigs that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and use to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.

As a pet owner with dogs who loves to travel with our pets, we know it’s hard to find places to let our dogs run. If you are in town for the track or enjoying Saratoga or even rent here, but need a place to let your dog run free that is not a dog park our yard for you. Our yard is fully fenced in and back up two trees. We are approximately 1 mile from downtown Saratoga. Yard has some gardens and a swingset. There is hose access. When you rent the yard, you will have exclusive use of the yard with no other dogs for your dogs safety and enjoyment.

Parts of the hiking area approaches the kennel areas (separated by fence) so we ask you to keep your dogs under voice control and in sight, away from kennel areas.

I have a vinyl fence which dogs can see through the pickets on two sides facing front yard and side street, I rescued a dog from Homeward Bound 12 years ago and they had to come to my house to see the yard and inspect me home. I have a long grass area where your dog can run freely. The yard is not fenced so I would recommend dogs that listen well. At the end of the grass is a tree area after that is a river. Your dog can play in the river. ( Please be cautious in the winter.) The left side of the yard has a wooded area. The right side has a warehouse so occasionally there’s people over there. On a dead-end road so not a lot of traffic.

This centrally located spot in the Capital Region will be a comfortable, safe and fun space for you and your dog(s) to play. Located in a quiet neighborhood in Guilderland (near the borders of Albany and North Bethlehem) with ample driveway space. Easy access to the backyard - you can use the private black metal side gate (pictured) to enter the backyard. You’ll find ample space for running and playing. There’s even a dedicated smaller fenced in dog area within the larger fenced in backyard (if you’d like to use that dog-friendly space as well). For the humans, there is a large covered porch, with ample seating and outlets for charging your phone. For dogs, there is a water bowl with readily accessible hose for water, toys and treats available for use while in the backyard. We have two small pups (Daschunds) of our own (Murphy and Bucky) who love their backyard but they will be inside during your visit so your pups will have the space all to themselves. Welcome to our expansive 10-acre unfenced farm, a haven for dogs to roam, play, and indulge their senses in a safe environment. With breathtaking views and abundant space, your furry friend can enjoy endless opportunities to explore and sniff to their heart's content. Ideal for owners seeking a natural, open setting where their dogs can run freely and experience the beauty of the outdoors.

Street parking; walk to the back of the building where you’ll find the fence gate held closed by a loose metal chain. NOTE: This fence is old and not secure. If you have a dog that is prone to running away please be mindful that they may be able to jump or slip underneath the fence.

New sniff spot with many plans in the works. We plan on providing fresh water at some time. Adding more level ground. Clearing more tall grass. Bring your dogs and some chairs. Have a campfire or cookout. Will be adding more level ground and clearing. There is a nice flat spot away from the road along the creek for ball tossing. And a nice flat upper level. Plenty of wood laying around for a campfire. We will be adding some fire rings soon. Please be patient as we make this an even better sniff spot. Filling and leveling more ground as we go.
