Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets and close the gate behind you - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - However, Please remember extra water for you and your pets. I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

We have over an acre, fully fenced. Pull right up to the marked gate by the out building and go right in. Tall trees provide shade and there is seating. Our dog Oliver shares his toys and we keep a doggy waste station available for easy cleanup. We live in the house on the property with our 3 dogs but want to share our spacious yard with others. A large pasture with fencing around everywhere except the top of the creek crossing running behind it. Bring a towel and enjoy! The bugs are back so a head screen or bug spray might make you more comfortable. Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! We just added a new 10x16 Covered Gazebo! Our beautiful scenic property consist of a private dirt road owned and maintained by us. We have multiple fields on the property. Along with plenty of woods. Some pastures. Also we have some yard chickens whom are dog friendly and also dog aware. Our roosters will keep any dog in line so need need to worry. As far as facility we have a 18 run fully supported indoor outdoor dog kennel. This facility has running water and caters to ur pets full needs. We can service and groom pets if owner request and expense. So weather u need someone to take ur dog for a week while u vacate or jus a few hours while u work each day, or even if u jus want to visit us and enjoy our beautiful retreat estate in the mountains here. There are trees, a shade sail canopy and a nice area covered shelter with a roof and fan to get away from the elements. We provide chairs, hammocks, a glider, a picnic table, kids play equipment, dog toys, water, etc. The park has a slope which can provide a great way for you and your pup to exercise. A nice big area for your pooch to dig is available as well as plenty of spots for your dog to roam and explore. Some areas are uneven and hilly which adds to the fun of exploring. Spot is located near an abandoned home site, and has a 10x14 ft platform to hang out on while your pup chases a stick! The site is nestled into the hillside of the woods and offers plenty of shade and a cool mountain breeze. There is active wildlife in the area, and your pup will have the best time sniffing all the smells! Although the property is unfenced, the site is roughly 200 yards from the road so there is still plenty of safe space to throw a ball!

Welcome to our yard! We are located in a dog friendly neighborhood at Lake Hartwell. Our street has a loop where you are welcome to take your dog for a walk on a leash with the view of the lake. Or you can sit in the shade under our covered carport and enjoy a bottle of water while your sweet pup roams around the backyard. There is a small trail or two in the woods on our property that you’re welcome to stroll through as well. While there are trees cut down next door, there has been no construction or activity taking place. Come enjoy this quiet and peaceful setting with your furry best friend!
