Even though it was a very hot summer day the walkway around the pool was not hot so we didn’t worry about it burning tender puppy paws. The host was so thoughtful and provided toys and towels. 55This was probably the most well thought-out and perfectly made sniff spot I’ve been to. The pool is such a rare and amazing opportunity for reactive dogs to be able to swim without the concern for algae or other dogs wandering around. It was a great size for the pups to swim around freely. The enclosed space had a large grass field surrounding the pool to run around. The flooring around the pool did not get hot, even though we did go when it was quite hot outside, so no concern for hot paws. The host also had provided everything I could’ve ever possibly forgotten, to include sunscreen, poop bags, pool accessories, and even dog toys.
There were horses and a cow present on the property, outside of the fenced portion with the pool. River enjoyed staring at the cow from a distance! The horses kept to themselves in the portion of the property beyond the pool.
We drove 2 hours to visit this sniff spot, and I will 110% be making this drive many times in the future. The dogs had a blast, and I couldn’t have been happier! Rohini R.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
