Sweetwater Court Private Dog Playground and Garden is perfect for an apartment pet, condominium pet or the traveling pet who needs a break to run and play off leash. Additionally we have many guests desiring safety for dogs and children to play together. Bring a friend, have a picnic while your dogs play. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. They love sniffing all of the plants and running the rows . We don’t mind! There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have additional extras, and feel free to make yourself at home. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional specials. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. We have a Keurig coffee pot, Hot Chocolate and Hot tea available.

Absolutely unexpected bliss. My dog did not want to leave. He loved running everywhere off leash. He adored the surprise warm sweet potato pup cup. The heated room was a huge benefit. I LOVED the Ghirardelli Hot chocolate. She has thought of everything for the pup and people to feel special. I have never seen my dog smile so much. The hard part was talking him into leaving. The provided treats helped me get him back into the heated room to get his leash back on him. Cathy’s questionnaire about how she can improve the park shows he commitment to make this STAY the best Sniffspot in Greensboro. Next time we are going to buy a crock pot of her chicken and dumplings or Chicken and rice soup to share with the pup. She has truly thought of everything. YES to the new PAW Membership she offers. We plan to be regulars. We came the morning before the snow and my pup slept for hours after we got home. He was truly mentally and physically stimulated. What a special spot, and being our first Sniffspot adventure, we may well be spoiled for all the rest. Cathy couldn't be a more accommodating hostess, even ensuring that the neighbors kept their dogs inside while my social, jumping Tanner enjoyed the area. A personalized bag of healthy, scrumptious treats awaited us inside the SheShed (including a handwritten Welcome card for me), as well as a yummy sweet potato complete with whipped cream topping (it was all I could do not to eat that myself, but it WAS Tanner's adventure after all). And abundance of everything, from toys to sunblock to human refreshments, and then the beautiful, expansive fenced area! I can only imagine how lush and gorgeous it will be when the leaves are on the trees and the garden is in full swing. We had an exceptional time, and it was wonderful to put a huge smile on my bored-with-winter dog's face. Thanks for everything, Cathy! We always feel at home at Sweetwater Court. Cathy and Vernon are very attentive and caring. The shelter dog, William, who I brought for some off-leash time, had a blast! What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
