Lots of different agility equipment for the dogs to use along with tennis balls, squeaking balls, and snacks for both dogs and humans. It is clear the owners take pride in their spot and love dogs. 55I live in an apartment complex where fenced yards are no existent. My trainer had given me the recommendation for Sniffspot and this course. We brought along her best friend and it was so fun to see them both get to interact as well as train them to feel comfortable with different jumps and the tunnel. It was an awesome experience I will be using again!Melanie L.

55Hamlet has never done any agility work before, but he is the essence of a play-motivated dog, so we hoped he would respond to the obstacles as an adventure. Just as the same suggests, he got to experience that at the Old Mystic K-9 Adventure Park. At first he just ran around and explored all the exciting scents of previous visitors. Then we directed him to new fun things like different jumps, weaving through poles and exploring the tunnel. He got better and better over the course of the hour, and working with him in this beautiful environment was as joyous for us as it was for him. We will definitely be back, and bring a friend too!

55Cute little spot! This was my first sniff spot experience and we had a great time. Parked fully on the grass along front side of fence as instructed, gate was easy to use, very clear instructions posted everywhere. Water/dish and toys, snacks were in a sealed container and available. Would definitely return!Raechel D.

55My first visit to Mystic K9 Adventure Park today, and we will definitely be back! As soon as we parked, my pup was so excited—she saw the equipment in the fenced-in area and knew this was for her. She got out there and immediately started doing all the jumps. Whoever put this place together did a fantastic job and thought of almost everything! A comfortable place to sit, for you and your pup, water, and all the play a dog could want. An hour flew by, and we were back on the road. What a great day—we loved it! 5 stars!Nils J.

55We found ourselves in a pickle yesterday traveling and staying in Groton. Our puppy and new rescue still won't use the bathroom on leash. We found this sniff spot and it was my first time using this app. We were blown away by how nice it was. Seats for the dog owners, a very well kept quiet area and I couldn't believe they provided balls and snacks! My son had just as much fun as my dog running around. They have a hose for water too! We will be back anytime we stay in CT for work! Mabel was a happy girl!Lindsay M.

FAQ about our Groton dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.

How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
