The property is just over 8 acres and fully fenced with barb wire cattle fencing. The portion of the property around the house has more secure wire mesh fencing! We have lots of seating available, we just ask you don't come onto the porch for our dog's sake (: The property has meadows, trees, walking trails, and a pond for you and your pup to enjoy! Close in town, but yet country setting on dead end road, 15 acres total, dog park is at front entrance on left. We started a smaller one several years ago, but then decided to wait and build a 6ft fence dog park in front and just finished it Sept 21, 2024! Still adding amenities! Will be open 24 hours after lighting is installed, hopefully soon! I only have 1 neighbor w 2 dogs about 1 acre away which they are not out till late afternoon, there is a train track but no horn, 2 acre park is at front of my 15 acres. I am here 98 percent of the time, I have a horse, 2 donkeys, 3 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are kept in the house while park is in use. Cats are free roaming but usually stay behind house in barn area or on my back porch. We welcome suggestions as well, as everyone may want different things. Occasionally you will see Deer, Owls, Hawks, Buzzards and my horse and donkeys can sometimes be seen but are several acres away from the dog park. We also have some large tow dumpsters on the property that come and go down the driveway occasionally when they are rented out.

This field is very private and is fenced in all except the gate area in the very front. The gate is broken.

We are a working farm and sanctuary. We have guest critters that come and go, we also have a few permanent residence. Please respect the property and the surroundings. Make yourself at home with your doggies and humans while you are here. Enjoy the hammocks, picnic tables, chairs, the creek and enjoy the trails as well. Please be courteous and pick up after yourself and your pets as well. We hope you enjoy your time here along with your fur babies and hope you’ll come back and see us again soon. Parking Only signs are posted. Please do not enter any of the buildings on the property and no matter what the critters tell you they are not allowed to get out of their safe zones while visitors are on our property. Please do not feed the critters anything other than what is provided specifically for that critter. This is a working sanctuary with guest changes all the time, also be aware that this is the “country”, you may encounter wildlife and insects from time to time. Be careful while exploring. There are no human restrooms available on the property.

Puppy play time! Bring your pups to run and explore our property. We have a fully fenced yard or an open, unfenced field…your choice! Total property is 2.5 acres. Important note: Our property is bordered by a creek. It is not to be entered/accessed by Sniffspot visitors, please.

We're in Ellis County just N of Waxahachie. It's nice and quiet and we have horses you can pet too!

Nice size yard with lots of room to run, throw a ball or frisbee, army crawl in the grass, or just stretch out and catch some rays. My four rescue dogs love their backyard! You might see one of them in the photos. The photos were taken early last spring. Grass is much more green and plush now. Water hose in the back to provide fresh water for the pups. If people prefer, I can provide some large metal bowls to leave out for guests. We have one big shepherd dog to the west of us who is super sweet and two elder westies in the back of me. I’ll be happy to answer any questions!

Come enjoy our backyard oasis. We have plenty of covered seating for any weather. A tree swing for all ages. Lights for night time. Fire pit. Outlet for charges. Wi-Fi available if needed. A fridge for drinks(water included) We also have a speaker if you like to listen to some music with your pups. In the summer months we will have a sprinkler to play/keep cool in.

I have a back yard with 2 areas for the dogs to play. One is downstairs in the back and one is closer to the patio. The neighborhood is very quiet and my yard is private with very tall fences.
