Rock Creek Dog Park is a 5 acre park located just outside of Davis Illinois and is a very quiet, tranquil and peaceful place surrounded by corn fields. Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. If your dog loves water or needs to cool off, a small creek runs through the park. Parking area provided.

Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Area is not used for trapping. Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).

PALS park, is a space we have curated for our three dogs, Penelope (20 lb Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (brothers,55-70 lb. Cattle Dog mixes). It’s a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs be the very best version of themselves. There is ample parking and the driveway and a pathway to the park will be cleared in the winter months. There is a horse shelter in the park (we are turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find a pooper scooper with a bucket for poops without poop bags (the #2 can be pitched over the fence, bagless), trash can (if you’re bagged poo, it can go in there), some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There is an always refreshed yellow bucket of water at the fire pit patio, as well as the BIG BOX of dog toys. We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - April) just for the dogs. We will provide some towels, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. Please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet.

Welcome to Southeast Wisconsin’s Finest Pet Resort! Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!

Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have. Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

The fence is partially chain link and partially wire pulled between wood posts. The terrain is a mix of grass and wooded areas with small walking paths through the woods. (Full dog washing station coming early Summer 2024!) - The kiddie pool will be out on hot days for your dog to cool off in! Swing set available for kids to use, at your own risk and under your supervision, while their pet runs around, however; the trampoline is strictly off-limits. Check out our extras that you may add, including premium dog treats from Mountain Dog Cookie Co, a kiddie pool for your dog in the summer months, additional unfenced space for your dog to explore their primal instincts (perfect for sporting dogs!), and even some human treats! Canine Respiratory Illness, what are we doing about it? We've taken a few extra precautions to keep our dogs & visitors safe. In our welcome basket, you'll find disposable bowls that you may use the hose next to the back door to fill up for your pup! Please dispose of your bowl in the garbage can next to the welcome basket. Additionally, toys in the basket will also be wiped down at least once per day with a pet-safe disinfectant. **The host is not responsible for any harm caused to you, your children, or your pets while using the swing set.**
