55Amy the host drove by when we first got there and was super. Made sure we had everything and definitely made us feel welcome. Sides to the pond are pretty steep in some parts so good recall on your dog is a must. And I would anticipate where you would be throwing a ball or stick.
Brought a bungee ball and let loose. My dog had a blast. Will definitely book again. Foxtails are present so be sure to check your pups paws after the visit and watch for excessive sneezing. Gracie W.

55We, and the dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our hour and a half at Amy’s. Plenty of room to play fetch with the chuck it and the dogs loved exploring. One of our dogs took a swim the pond. We will definitely book this Sniff spot again!Tina L.

55Will be back! We came end of October, but I think it would be a really cool spot in Summer. My Blue Heeler and my daughter both enjoyed running a muck and playing fetch. Fun place to explore. Will be back ❤️Karli K.

55Great local option to the dog park. Definitely enough space for dogs to really open up. As advertised, partially fenced, which could be problematic for those who wander and resist the call back! Otherwise, awesome!!! Lynn B.

55We love this spot! It was perfect for my two labs because one is a water dog and the other is an explorer. The spot is so big its easy to stay away from any non-fenced areas. Lindsey A.

55Perfect day!!! Perfect spot for a sniff. Dogs had a blast! We prefer the field on the Northwest side of the property--fully fenced, with so much to explore. Lynn B.

55This place was great. Perfect spot for our hunting dog to get in some practice. She loved running through the brush and swimming in the pond. Should could have easily spent the entire day there. Our little dog wasn't so happy about it. He is a sidewalk dog, but he did get a little time in the field.Stacie O.

55Bruno had a blast running around and playing in the pond. The host was super responsive as well. There is plenty of room for dogs to run around, just beware that the area where the pond is (behind the partially fenced field) has no fencing and is next to a gravel road. You’ll need a solid recall. Otherwise, stick to the first pasture area. There are a few ways for pups to access the pond, just be mindful that there are some steep drop-offs as well. Chantalle v.

55Our two dogs had the zoomies all over this property. The little pond is such a great feature. Our dogs chased each other around the perimeter of the pond before jumping in for a swim. Some areas of the property had big holes and was saturated with water but that’s totally expected. Just watch where you’re walking and be sure to wear a sturdy pair of boots and you’ll be fine. We will definitely be back!Kieran H.

55By far, the best, most readily available Sniffspot in the Salem-Keizer area. So thankful for the off-leash option this property provides. Thank you hosts; thank you Sniffspot!!! Lynn B.

55Really incredible property. The swimming hole is the best! Wear boots and check your dog over for foxtails when you leave. Boundary was a little vague but Amy responded quickly to my questions and then everything was clear. We had a great time and will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your property!!Kim K.

55Another fantastic morning here! Nox, the Labrador, really enjoys the space to run and play fetch. She's a crazy puppy, so being able to swim and run freely really wears her out! We love stopping by this spot, it's so beautiful and peaceful. Really nice to be able to let the pup run around without worry of other dogs running up on her. Anna M.

FAQ about our Lebanon dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
