This is my new favorite Sniffspot, I booked a return visit tomorrow. Definitely worth the drive from Austin. My big dog is part lab and is about swimming and fetch all day — perfect spot for him. My 2 smaller dogs also enjoyed the water and running around, there were shallower parts that worked for them. There was a tame duck in the pond and a horse in the field next door. Neither of these things were distractions for my dogs as overall they found the spot really entertaining and the smells, mud and pond way more interesting.

We booked two hours and the dogs used the whole time deapitw the heat. They had a nice mowed trail around the pond and property. We walked the trail which was mostly shaded with trees. My dogs loved playing in the pond and questioned the duck's existence. We will be back!

We had a BLAST! Running around the pond & whole property was a dream come true for our 2 year old GSP. The grounds were super clean and Katie was kind enough to create walking paths. The pond is super clean & great for pups who love to swim! We will definatley be back!

Thank you so much for opening your ranch to others. This is my pup’s most favorite place to go. They’ve cleared walking paths around the property so there is lots to explore, and Chopper loves getting to sniff everywhere and, of course, run through the pond.

Amazing property, secure, quiet, serene.. just what I wanted for my pack of three. The only con is you’re gonna drive home sad that you don’t own such a beautiful piece of land! I will definitely be back, my three pups enjoyed it.

Just like the title says, "So worth the drive." This spot is easily the top spot for my boys. As soon as I took their leashes off, they took off at full speed to cover as much of the 30 acres as possible in the shortest amount of time. They came to a stop when they got to the nice-sized pond so they could splash around and cool off.

Amazing property and definitely worth the drive! We brought our 1 yr old lab, who is sensitive and nervous in new environments and has a lot of energy. I reached out to Katie because I noticed she offered play time with some of her Goldens. Our dog loved the pond, digging in the dirt and exploring the property to bring his energy level down before introducing him to her Goldens. She was very helpful and she understands dog behavior and we were so happy that our dog was able to interact with some of her beautiful dogs. We would love to go again! Thank you Katie for being willing to make this a great experience for all of us, especially for Stark!

For sure worth the drive and a beautiful drive at that! My dogs had a blast! They ran around the beautiful land and explored then swam the remainder of the time. The absolute perfect spot for a doggie paradise!

Let me start by saying there is SO much to run/ explore for the dogs. From the moment we stepped out of the car they were smelling. The pond, there’s a little trailish path, etc. so much space - personally I was not worried at all about my dogs escaping. There is fencing around the area, and if you’re concerned there’s enough land to where being near the fence line isn’t needed. Overall, my dogs had a blast and on the way home were knocked out. We did not see any dogs, heard light barking but nothing my aggressive dog even thought twice about! As listed in the title- it’s worth the drive!

Took my dog here for his bday. He had the best time, as he always does. Thank you so much for opening your home to us! Heads up, if you walk off the paths there are some burrs so keep an eye out.

This is a great spot! 5 stars for the host for cleanliness, communication and the spot. Some things to be wary of the gate to the property itself and the creek bed exit under the bridge are not fenced in a way that will contain dogs. If your pup is like mine and will bolt at the first sign of no fence steer clear of these areas!

Such a nice spot. Our dogs LOVED it and they had so much fun! The front gate is easily accessible for your dog to get out from, but there is so much space that it was easy keeping our curious boy in. There were lots of barking dogs around (sometimes visible but contained) , so just something to be aware of if your dog is sensitive or reactive to that.

This is now my favorite sniff spot outside of Austin! My two dogs are trained off leash and one of them is mildly reactive. The house where she has her dogs was definitely far away enough from us.. I always get nervous about that but it was perfect. The host takes great care of her property. It was very simple to find and see where to park. We will be back!!

Responsive and communicative host! My dog had so much fun and we’re excited to come back soon :) The property was clearly well maintained and although there were a few fire ant hills (as there are in this part of Texas) we didn’t have any problems avoiding them.
