My back yard is my sanctuary. I appreciate the fact that it is fully fenced in. There’s a flat area then a sloped area. You’ll see the pool which is currently closed for winter. The koi pond is open year round with a small fountain & plants. There is room to run freely or play catch. Also, space to simply relax & enjoy the tranquility outdoors. There is a cozy fire pit. You’ll be happy to find a table with chairs to sit at in both a covered & an uncovered place. There are chairs by the koi pond to unwind listening to the fountain & looking for the fish. Welcome! 😊

We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Welcome to Louie's Oasis! .25 acres of space for your pups to explore. Our backyard offers a flat area of grass, along with a wooded area with pine straw. The wooded area of our backyard is on an incline. This area offers plenty of shade for your pups to sniff and explore, or get in some exercise by running up and down! We have chairs, a bucket of dog toys, and a water bowl for you to utilize during your visit. We have two seating areas, one or the other is generally in the shade depending on the time of day. Feel free to move chairs around to shaded areas! You can park in our driveway, or in the parking spaces directly across the street. There is an elementary school across the street that has plenty of parking spaces on the weekends or evenings when school is not in session.

"Paws On Parkwood" is a small 1 acre fully fenced field at the front of our property. This field is shared with our goats, all goats have been hand raised and will be in their dedicated area at the time of your visit. This area is fully fenced and has areas of trees, maintained grass, unmaintained grass (goat feed) and patch type woods along the property line. Pull into the driveway and park in front of the "Parking" sign that will be on the right, close to the house. To enter the field, follow the driveway halfway back down the driveway to the gate with the "Paws On Parkwood" sign.

Please note I had a dead tree come down during the hurricane. It has been removed and a fire pit has been started in its place. I still have to finish the build of the fire pit so if you think your dog will try to get into the ashes then please hold off on booking until it is complete.
