Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have one doggo but won't be outside during your booked time. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.

Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. They will eventually bring the dog in when the barking becomes too much 📍We laid some hay in and around the play area to help with the mud and protect the grass. 📍 We replaced the blue picnic table that was under the canopy with a couch and chair. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.
