The Paw Park

The Paw Park Rules 1. Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated*, spayed or neutered, and must wear a visible license tag. Puppies must be at least four (4) months old. *Rabies, Distemper & Parvo vaccinations are required. Bordetella (kennel cough) and Leptospirosis vaccinations are strongly recommended. 2. It is strongly recommended that children not be taken into the Park. Supervising adults assume all risk & responsibility for children entering the Paw Park. 3. Dogs displaying aggression toward people or other dogs must be removed from the Park. Dogs with a history of aggressive behavior are not permitted. 4. No food or glass containers in the Park. Please remove plastics and toys. 5. Dog handlers must be in the Park with their pets, must be observant of the animal, and must be ready to promptly settle problems. 6. Dog handlers must have a leash readily available. 7. Limit of three (3) dogs per handler. 8. Leash & unleash dogs within the triple gated sally port. Secure the gates before leaving the area. 9. All dogs must be off-leash at all times while in the Park. 10. Do not allow dogs to pester or mount each other. 11. For health reasons, bring your own watering dish. Water is available on-site, except during the winter months. 12. No smoking in or around the Park. 13. Don’t litter. Please clean up after yourself and your dog. Barkology

Barkology dog Park Rules 1. Dogs must be friendly and well socialized to hang out at Barkology. We are a high volume, busy dog hangout. Most dog parks have acres of space and only a handful of dogs- lots of room to spread out. Our place, even though it is 9,000 square feet, is considerably smaller than your average dog park and is much, much more populated. Dogs here need to be comfortable being in big groups with all kinds of sizes, breeds, energies. 2. If your pup displays signs of aggression (yes, including fear aggression), anti-social behaviors, or we believe he/she is at risk of starting a dog fight, you will be asked to leave to maintain the safety of our space and for the wellbeing of your dog. No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave due to a behavioral issue. 3. Dogs must be licensed and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. 4. No Female dogs in Heat and unneutered males must be watched closely. 5. Puppies must be at least 4 months of age or have completed all puppy shots to enter. 6. No persistent, antagonistic barking or frequent humping will be tolerated as both can cause dog fights and are generally annoying to our human guests. If your dog behaves in this manner, you will be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave due to a behavioral issue. 7. No outside food allowed 8. No children under the age of 12, ages 12-18 must be accompanied by an adult. 9. No spike prong or pinch collars.

BLACK ROCK CANAL PARK BARK PARK RULES All users are hereby advised that the Bark Park is an unsupervised recreational area of the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation & Forestry. All users are further advised that the use of this facility is at their own risk. 1. Users must abide by all rules and regulations governing the use of Erie County Park and Recreation Lands and must comply with the directions of the Parks Department Personnel. 2. Bark Park Hours: 7 AM – 9 PM Summer: Memorial Day-Labor Day 7 AM – Dusk Winter: Labor Day- Memorial Day 3. Dog owners are legally and financially responsible for any property damage or personal injury inflicted by their dogs. 4. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult. 5. There is a limit of two dogs per supervising adult within the Bark Park area. 6. Dogs with a history of dangerous or aggressive behavior are prohibited. Dogs who display aggression toward people or other dogs must be removed immediately. 7. Puppies under the age of four (4) months are prohibited and dogs over six (6) months of age must be spayed or neutered. 8. All Dogs must be properly licensed, vaccinated and wear a collar and ID with updated information.  Rabies, Distemper and Parvo Vaccinations are required.  Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and Leptospirosis Vaccinations are recommended. 9. All Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and exiting the fenced area. All dogs must be off-leash while inside the Bark Park area. 10. Dog owners must be in verbal command of their dogs and have a leash ready at all times. Dogs must never be left unattended or out of sight. 11. Owners must pick up after their dogs and refrain from any littering. 12. The Bark Park is divided into two areas for small and large dogs. Small dogs (30 lbs. or less) shall not be allowed in the large dog area. Large dogs (31 lbs. or more) shall not be allowed in the small dog area. 13. Glass containers and food are NOT allowed in the Bark Park area. 14. Feeding or giving of dog treats to other dogs than your own is not permitted. 15. In an emergency, call 911 or your veterinarian.
