We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with loads of space for furry friends and their owners to enjoy! Trails, a pond, creek, seating areas for relaxing , swings if children come along. There is truly something for everyone! *please fill in any holes your dog may dig. If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! This is a working farm! We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. We can’t wait for you all to visit! And please do not hesitate to contact with any questions or if any assistance is needed! We do sell our chicken eggs- if you are interested please don’t hesitate to ask!

We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Finally, we are a community of pet lovers and we all pull together and support each other positively . If you have any issues at all, please reach out to me and I will make it right . We have received 1 out of 100 less than stellar review left simply because our family dog was let out in our front yard totally separate from the Sniffspot for five minutes and I just don’t want there to be any other negative experiences. Plenty of parking, shade and seating for humans. We have toys, poop bags and fresh water for your pup! $5 per dog for 30 minutes; $8 per dog for 60 minutes. Limit 6 SMALL dogs or puppies please.

The route to the Farmette is very scenic. It's roughly 35-40min from the MGM/National Harbor, and is 2min from Smallwood State Park and various boat, fishing locations. The street is milled, so PLEASE DRIVE SLOW as you ride to the end of the road. The yard is fully fenced, secured by a farm gate. You will enjoy a pesticide and chemical free yard for the safety of all 🐕. Bug spray and natural flea, tick spray is provided for all visitors. Come and watch your pets run the wide open spaces, splash in the Puddle Park 💦🫧. Seating, plenty of shade can be found on the grounds. There is plenty of space to park inside of the spot and allows for multiple vehicles of any size to park to accommodate large pup parties🙂 . Our little cottage in Hyattsville Hills has a lovely big backyard and we would love to share it with you. My dog Ruby loves doing laps around the shed, looking at the deer in the back, wooded area and chasing squirrels of course. There are benches and chairs for you to relax while your pup has fun and there are usually some balls and toys hanging around for you to play with

Fur-Get Me Not is a leading daycare, boarding, and training facility in the area. We welcome the dog community to exercise and provide mental stimulation utilizing our facility when the dog training school is not actively in use. We work with many rescues and also reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the need to provide a safe play space for these dogs and happy to offer our facility as a stress-free option.

Located in a quiet area of the Benning Ridge neighborhood, just near Fort Dupont Park and the hiker / biker trails (a great place to walk), our big-for-DC fenced back yard is a great place to throw the ball with your pet, stop for a break, and have some nice dog play and space to relax in the city where there are not many dog parks nearby. We are a dog family, and have a smooth fox terrier in the house, and if you request the time to be completely private, we will make sure he stays inside! But don't be surprised if he's staring out the window!
