It is a doggy paradise. Just ask out 2 border collies and their friends. We have 5 acres with multiple fenced areas. Currently when you book you get the fully fenced front acreage. There is also a large pond for the water loving dogs but it is not fully secure. (POND IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR PLAY DUE TO DROUGHT) We do also have horses, chickens and cats so we do ask that your pup be a good neighbor and not chase anyone but their own balls, frisbees or other toys.

It's nestled in the Colored District of Pflugerville. There's a Hispanic and African American cemetery you will pass to enter the property. The field's trees are along the edges so you can see your dog almost across the whole property. There's a 2 car carport and house on the property. Also there are a few trails the animals use along the fence which are seen when the grass gets higher. There is a firepit, parkours and the main attraction is the huge field. Dog walkers, reactive dogs and/or doggie dates are perfect for the spot. The smells, the sniffs and occasional chase of small animals will keep the dogs attention all in a safe controlled environment. I try to keep debris off the spot. I'm always fixing the fence. My main focus for the visitors is please pick up after your dog. There's plenty of bags and a huge green trashcan to put it in. I just added a swung which I'd next to some trees so yall can relax in the shade and not in the grass. There's a green trash can where the doggie poo goes. Attached to that are the poo bags in a clear plastic bag. Next to the green trash can is a rusty metal chair. In that chair are toys, tennis balls, doggie bowls and more. The water hose is on top of a 55 gallon Grey tank, which is close to the house. This tank is less than 8 feet away from the proper gate facing north, which is next to the outdoor water source. Now offering 30 minute time slots because of the heat. RVers are welcome.

This was my first time using sniff spot and it was great! Lucky Star Country Private Dog Park is amazing, and Jess was super nice and helpful. It was a bit of a drive for me, but was totally worth it and super fun to do something a little different with my dogs. They loved smelling where horses had been and looking at the chickens. My dogs and I loved this awesome farm not too far outside of Austin. The fenced in area is huge so my fetch-obsessed pup got to run around like crazy. He also loved jumping off the dock into the pond and swimming around! My other dog enjoyed sniffing all of the smells and seeing the chickens, horses, and cows around the property. I loved getting to spend time with their horse, too. As a former horse girl, it was such a nice perk for me! The owner is super friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to going back sometime soon!

Great spot, my boy had a blast chasing balls around and exploring the field. Host was friendly and provided a bucket of clean water, hose, and towel. I’m sure we’ll be back again in the future! I’d recommend wearing boots and bringing something to scrape them off with as there was some mud and horse droppings. The gate in and out is wide enough for most dogs to squeeze through but the host placed some movable fencing in front of it which was plenty to keep my pup inside.

You can see any park amenities provided, including a park bench, water for dogs or water features such as kiddie pool or water hose. If your dog loves water, you can go to a park with water features, but if they don't love water, you can avoid them. We also recommend reading reviews to check for park maintenance issues and reaching out to the host with any questions. And lastly, of course, check park hours. Many of our parks are open from dawn until dusk.

We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that owners sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. We also require that pet owners follow safety protocols around water features.

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
