55This is a great new Sniffspot! The dogs loved wandering the trails and sniffing wildlife smells. We were there on a warm late September morning and enjoyed the scenery of trees starting to change color and sound of crickets chirping. This spot is just off a county highway so you can hear cars passing and it is unfenced but the trails were far enough away from the road that I wasn't worried. My dogs wear drag lines when they're offleash so I can catch them if needed. They also wear high vis vests in case we get separated and I need to find them. But they were great and stayed on the trails. Definitely bring bug spray... obviously if you hike in rustic areas, you'll encounter mosquitoes, gnats and flies. There is a sign to let you know when you've reached the property line and we saw some wire fencing along another stretch of trail. This seems to be a fairly recently groomed trail so there is some rough terrain with poky weed stalks sticking up from the ground and some areas with low overhanging branches, so wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to navigate some obstacles. Also a lot of spiderwebs across the trail so carry a stick to knock those down. Easy to find and we loved it! Will definitely be back!Heather T.
