It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! We are on 12 acres mostly wooded. There is a creek on the backside of the property. Which is also where the main acreage is and a trail. You can park outside the gated area if stay on the frontside of the property…most of that acreage is on the left when you pull down the driveway. Or, if given enough notice I can put our dog inside. That way you can pull down and park near the horse trailer. Either direction you take if you go on the backside of the house there is a trail. If you follow that trail to the right you will see the creek further back. Open from 9AM to 7PM Daily with approval or reservation. Fire pit is available for use with prior approval. You must provide your own wood/fire log., make sure the fire is completely out and clean up behind yourself. There are 3 chair around the fire pit. Solar powered string lights are hung that light the fire pit area which come on automatically. We also sell fresh chicken eggs. With enough notice and quantity wanted you can buy them in 1/2 dozen or dozen increments. $4 for 1/2 dozen and &8 for a dozen.
