55We have 2 old dogs, one loves to swim and one hates it. This place was able to fulfill both their needs and kept us comfortable at the same time. There is a private, open, clean yard with a few chairs and a pond that our dog absolutely loved. We would definitely go back and definitely recommend! Christina G.

55Gorgeous, well-maintained property! The owner said they treat the pond, so algea doesn't grow. It's nice not to have to worry about the water (blue algea) in warmer months, especially when your dog is convinced he's part fish! The owner was very nice and even brought out some water and treats.
The yard is HUGE, and Ted was able to get some good speed in his sprints after the ball while playing fetch.
No fence, so definitely keep that in mind if your dog struggles with recall. We did not see or hear any other animals while on the property. The only person we saw was the owner when she brought water out.Britni B.

55What a beautiful property! My pup loved it though to be honest he’s so not used to going places he kept circling back to the vehicle lol. He explored even dipped his toes in the pond, and they were kind enough to have water and treats out. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.Ellen D.

55We really enjoyed getting out hiking with Knox. The trails are a bit hard to find and follow when there’s a lot of leaves down so just keep that in mind. Amelia H.

55Absolutely amazing, easy access and well secured. Both my dogs had a great time, and it even successfully tired out my 11 mo puppy who knocked out the whole 30 min carride homeCal G.

55Nice sized yard. Lots of room to run. There is some interesting equipment for dogs to try if they want. Just FYI: There was a neighbors’s dog visible from the yard (in winter with no leaves) and it was barking for about 5 minutes before it was brought in. Didn’t bother my lovey but may be a trigger for dog reactive dogs. Also there are a lot of birds visiting a feeder (in same yard but not in fenced part so dropped food worries). My dog being a 9 month old hunting breed fixated a bit on the 20 or so birds for a while. Again, only a concern to some people and shouldn’t be a deterrent to try it for yourself. Nova had a great time here. E P.

FAQ about our Monson dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Monson area are 5 stars.
