We do have some small farm animals throughout the property but they are all secure in their areas. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am. All pups are required to be on a leash while at Pups and Pints, unless in the off-leash dog park. Collars on Pups in the off-leash park must display name and contact info. No shock or e-collars are permitted at the park. Retractable leashes are not permitted at the park. While we do recommend that every pup is fully vaccinated, we do not enforce it in our main on-leash area. Pups are also not required to be fixed; only if you want them to play in our off-leash park. Owners are responsible for their Pups’s behavior. Each owner is solely responsible for their Pup’s actions and assumes all liability for damages or injuries suffered by any Pup or person by the member or their Pup. Two Pups maximum per person. Ignoring a Pawficial’s request may lead to removal from the off-leash park. Please clean up after your Pup. Outside drinks are prohibited by Virginia ABC law. Pups must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES while not in the off-leash park.
