55We didn't bother looking for the creek because it's winter. It is pretty easy to avoid if you don't want your dog to get wet. But our bully pup had a blast! So great that there is an open field for running and woods to explore. He didn't want to leave! We look forward to coming back in warmer weather so we can play in the creek. Amy S.

Great property! Lots of space to let dogs run and explore. Trail by river is nice. We just didn’t let them go down as the embankment was kind of steep, wish there was one spot that was accessibility. There is one down from the main one straight ahead, but frim the rain, it was pretty muddy and worried the dogs would slip trying to get back up. Awesome overall, the boys tired themselves out and had a great time!

The field area was also very nice and looked like a great place to play but we went at a hot and sunny time so we stayed more in the shade of the trees and near the water. The back land was definitely a touch overgrown so be sure to wear closed toed shoes (my mistake - hoping I didn’t get poison ivy!) and long pants :) we didn’t get any ticks though!! The river trail was pretty good, the dogs splashed right in. As a human don’t expect to get wet though because it’s hard to access for us! 55This was such a great time! It was our first time using Sniffspot- Kerry was wonderful. She communicated clearly and she made yummy treats for our dogs. We had told her it was their birthdays and she even left them a card! She had left a perfect box filled with towels, toys, water bowls, and water. It was very well organized! The property was really nice- the dogs took a dip in the creek and were exhausted from running around. Given that the front of the house is close to the street, I would say this is a good spot for dogs who don’t wander too far away. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
