Great yard, very spacious! Not ideal for little dogs as the front gate has a foot tall gab between the grass and the bottom of it. There was toys water for pups and water for me! Cute lil table with shade. Almost the entire yard is shaded! We had a great time

Really big yard was perfect for my dog. There are a couple spots where an escape artist dog might be able to get out if they were small enough, but were totally fine for my medium to large size dog. The yard was spacious and grassy. Trees offered fun obstacles to run around and plenty of shade. Host had a nice spread of toys, dog waste bags, a bottle of water and some treats available, and there is seating available. Really great place, and we look forward to our next visit.

The house was a little hard to find. They can just say it’s on the corner of Hicks Rd and to park on the side road that borders their house and it will be easier. The experience was wonderful. It’s a very large yard with slopes, lots of trees and bushes. Willie ran and ran for an hour. Only problem is the gate where you enter. If you have a small dog, he/she will be able to crawl underneath. Willie tried and got halfway under and he is 40 lbs. Other than that, the yard is fully secure. We’ll be going back there.

The backyard is very large and nicely shaded. The water, treats, toys and spare poop bags were a nice bonus. The gap under the fence when you enter was a concern initially but my puppy was more interested in playing and didnt even notice it.

This Sniffspot is super spacious! It’s the biggest Sniffspot I’ve found within reasonable driving distance from the city, so it’s the perfect place for my dogs to run. There’s big open spaces for running and some forested sections that my dogs love to sniff in. I love that the hosts include a huge water bowl as well as toys which my dogs are obsessed with (especially the rope toy and frisbee!). The whole spot is shady and it’s definitely worth a drive from the city. Some things to consider: there’s a bit of traffic noise which didn’t bother my dogs but may bother some dogs. Also as some reviews have said, there’s a small gap under the entrance gate. My dogs were too busy playing and running to noice it so it wasn’t a problem for us. The gap would be easily fixable by leaning up a plank of wood or something against it, so I’m sure the hosts could accommodate you if you have a smaller dog!

A hidden gem. We pulled up and I thought it was too small for our Great Dane. But the yard went waaaay back. Margot loved the soccer balls that were in the yard and the host had water for both me and Margot. Yard was clean and safe.

Awesome place for my dog to run around and sniff. Backyard is spacious and host kindly provides toys, treats, bags, and water. Host even provided towels since it rained the night before. Definitely recommend!

we absolutely loved this spot! so much room for your dog to run, my girl was SO thrilled! she was a big fan of the treats, also. i would note that there’s some burr bushes somewhere in the yard, so if your dog has a good amount of coat make sure you brush after! i found a few tangles in her hair but totally worth it :)

I never used Sniffspot before but I’m so thankful that this one was my first! It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be and such a spacious area for my energetic dog to run around! Meg was so sweet and informative and even provided a towel and tennis ball for Podo to use! Truly a gem of a place in the palatine area! Will definitely come back again. (:

Yard is great, nice tall fencing and easy to get in and out. Had the hose and a water bowl out for us which was perfect for this hot day. Just need to bring your toys! Saw the cute little senior dog next door through the fence doing her potty time. Plenty of shade and chairs for use during our visit. Would go back!

Very nice and private yard with a 5 ft fence, and the location is close by. Lots of shade. My terrier loved the freedom to sniff around and explore. Will definitely book again.

A great spot! Yard is fully enclosed and secure, relatively flat, partially shaded and a good size! Water bowl was clean and filled upon arrival, there was also a nice chair, elevated dog bed and toys available. We’ll be back for sure!

Very nice yard with plenty of shade, a full water bowl provided, and a small container with toys to play with. The iron style fencing has gaps large enough for my 50lbs dog to stick his face through and interact with the neighbors dog, who also stuck his face and legs through the fence
