55Very nice sized yard, plenty of room for my Lab. Yard does get muddy if it rains or snows. Fencing is similar to roll out cattle fence, so may not be secure enough for fence chargers. Otherwise had a great time!Miles W.

55Beautiful yard! A bit muddy after the snow, but Guy was kind enough to give me a heads up so I could come prepared with appropriate footwear and towels for the dogs. Open and spacious yard with lovely trees around the perimeter with hammocks and a covered seating area. The dogs had a blast. Mekenzie W.

55Perfect sniff spot: clear instructions, spacious, water bowl, agility equipment, trash can for poop bags all provided. Didn’t see or hear any other dogs while we were there. Yard was muddy as expected with recent weather but host even gave a heads up about that. Only note would be that some parts of the fence might be a little low for anyone with a highly athletic dog that likes to escape. My border collie/pitbull mix could have jumped it if she really wanted to but she is capable of jumping well over a 5ft fence so most fences are jumpable for her. With that said it was secure and tall enough she didn’t feel the need to try and played fetch for the whole hour. Will definitely return.Colin R.

55Very accommodating for a last minute visit. Yard is a little muddy at the moment but so is the ground everywhere, just something to be mindful of. I'd love to come back in better weather! Our dog had a wonderful time and I am grateful to these hosts who are willing to share their homes!Maura P.

55Nice and spacious! My two dogs had a wonderful time and they are now exhausted. My one shepherd loved the little rope toy tied to the tree! Came out muddy but it's OK considering a hike in the woods would have resulted in the same today.
Only hiccup was that I had to wait in my car for 5-10 mins since contractors next door were spraying some sort of pesticide and they recommended taking the dogs inside while they were doing it.Diva A.

55Guy’s yard was a perfect spot for Dexter to explore and run around; just what Dexter needed. Dexter, Alma and I enjoyed the conversations and interactions with Guy and his daughter. Dexter especially enjoyed running around and playing with Guy’s daughter.
We’re planning on a return adventure and continuing on our Dexter training. Kevin B.

55Very nice, large yard with plenty of room to run, fetch, sniff, etc. Quite muddy this time of year, which the host warned me about and is to be expected with the weather we’ve had… just come prepared with towels and proper footwear. We will be back!Katherine L.

55My dog Wednesday and I had so much fun! She enjoyed playing fetch, using the agility hoop for the first time, also rolling in the grass is her favorite. She came home tired so that was a plus. The owner came out to greet us and Wednesday loved interacting with him, thank you again! Shannon C.

FAQ about our Penn Valley dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
