SAVE A DOG. SAVE A VETERAN! We're a non-profit foundation on a mission to support Veterans dealing with the invisible scars of combat. One awesome program we've got going is the Battle Buddy initiative. We rescue dogs from shelters, give them some serious TLC, train them up, and then match them with Veterans who could use a furry friend to help with PTSD or tough times. When you make a purchase, 100% of it goes straight into funding this heartwarming program, where we get to save not just one, but two lives – a dog's and a Veteran's. So, by choosing us, you're not just saving a dog; you're making a real difference in a Veteran's life. How cool is that?

Off-leash dogs can run off, get lost and be a hazard to other people and dogs. It shall be unlawful for any person in charge of a dog to fail to remove feces deposited by the dog on publicly owned property (City Code Sec. 12-3011[b]). Pick up after your pet. The park provides bags and trashcans in many parks and along trails for you to use. All dogs shall be healthy and properly vaccinated. Handlers must carry a leash and remain inside the fenced area within view and voice control of their dogs at all times. No more than three dogs per handler for each visit to the park. Choke, prong, pinch, and spike collars must be removed inside park area. Close adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12. No food or dog chews are allowed within the off-leash area (picnic shelter area is exempted). No littering. Place all trash in receptacles. Climbing on or over the fence is not permitted. Parks and Recreation staff have the authority to close the site for maintenance, weather related problems and special events. Be mindful of other kids and pets in the park. Although your dog might never harm anyone, the behavior of other dogs and people is always unpredictable. For questions or to volunteer, call 919- 872-4156. In the event of an emergency, dial 911
