Happy to fire up the sprinklers if it will make your dog happy! In the summer months, my fruit trees are off the hook and you will find fruit everywhere...both on the trees, and on the ground. Please pick to your hearts desire! My dogs spend their days getting their daily dose of fiber. If you're concerned about your pets eating apricots, pears, or apples, please check with me before reserving. Hey, I’m Clifford—Dudeist Priest, campground owner and host, and the Dude you’ll probably spot wandering around with Sandy, my heeler/Jack Russell mix who’s pretty sure she runs the place (and honestly, she’s not wrong). I run a 40 acre private campground called A Spark in the Dark Campground here in Ash Fork, Arizona, where you get wide-open skies, quiet nights, and a little bit of genuine weirdness you just can’t buy in stores. I started this place with one goal: to make it a safe, relaxed spot for good people and their dogs to enjoy the outdoors without hassle. Whether you want to explore the trail, nap under the junipers, or just watch your pup sprint around like their life depends on it, you’re in good company here. I keep things laid-back and personal—no stuffy rules, just good vibes and a real respect for nature (and dog hair). Lots of room to run, lizards to chase, and a fully fenced 40 acres is yours to wander! Keep in mind that the fence is a 4 wire cattle fence with wildlife-friendly wire at the bottom. I’m usually on-site and happy to help with anything you need. So come on out! Unplug, unwind, and get a little dirt between your toes (or paws). :)

Sedona Dog Park

Sedona Dog Park, located at 950 Soldier Pass Rd in Sedona, Arizona, offers a fully fenced enclosure for dogs to play. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from April 1 to October 1 and from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from October 1 to April 1. All dogs must have current vaccinations and a city license, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and owners must supervise their dogs at all times. The park provides amenities such as chairs and tables, and can be contacted at (928) 203-5063.

Park hours: The park is open April 1 - October 1 from 6 a.m.- 8 p.m., and October 2 - March 31 from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. The park is closed Thursdays mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for sanitizing of the facility.

Downtown Escape

We’re offering access to our unmaintained, fenced (3-4 ft) 7,500 sq ft backyard located in a residential area of downtown Prescott. This is a no-frills, no-service space. We do not provide supervision, customer service, or additional amenities beyond what’s already here. Our personal pack of five Siberian Huskies lives on the property full-time, so this is a shared-use space. The fence is low and easily jumpable for dogs that like to escape—please assess whether this is appropriate for your pet before booking. We do provide basic water access via buckets or bowls. This is simply a backyard that we’re making available as-is. We don’t have plans to make improvements or accommodate special requests. Use it if it works for you.
