Always our favorite spot not just for how great it is for the dogs but because the hosts are genuinely two of the nicest people ever. (My two year old threw her arms around John’s neck while I was losing the dogs back up into my car). And their gaggle of farm animals are friendly and sweet. The perfect place!

What an amazing property John and his wife have created. From the moment you arrive you know you’re in for a treat. You do have to walk through a bevy of turkeys, goats, the two Scottish Highland cattle (mother and son) as well as other farm animals so be sure the pups are on a secure leash. Once through the second gate though you have 7+ acres of trails, fields, a beautiful stream, lush woods, and much more to explore. This is a stunning property and definitely worth a visit. Note: The property is not fenced so should only be used with dogs that have good return. Highest recommendations.

Spring ash Farm is amazing!!! Brought my husky and I had booked for two hours but he wore himself out after just an hour! He was beyond excited to see all the animals up close. The space beyond the pastures is incredible. So many fun trails, nice and shady, and plenty of places to sit and take it all in. From the creek to the cabin in the woods, John has created such a wonderful space for both humans and dogs. Can’t wait to come back and visit the cows again!

Out of this world! Absolutely an unbelievable property for both dog and human, like a magical fairy land with creeks and bridges a trails all over. As a human I want to move there and our dogs were THRILLED the entire time!

This place is a gem, and pictures don’t do it justice! 🤩 Super friendly host and plenty of trails/streams to explore. One review suggested to bring bug spray, good call! Walking through farm area was exciting for pups but kept them leashed just in case. Totally worth going on a hot summer day! ☀️

We had such a great experience at Fiveash Farm! John was an amazing host, he took us on a tour of the property so we would know where everything was, and was incredibly sweet to us and our two dogs. We have a very high spirited Irish setter pup who can be rambunctious when excited and John was just the best with him. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring the sniff spot, and seeing the farm animals up close! We would 100% recommend this spot and John to everyone, and will definitely be going back!

So happy we found this Sniffspot!! This was the first time my rottie got to see farm animals, like cows, goats, and chickens and she was mesmerized by them! Beautiful, large property. On our next visit, we will book for more than an hour so we can enjoy the numerous trails AND the creek. The owners were so kind and helpful. They gave me a tour of the Sniffspot and sent us on our way with organic veggies grown in their garden! I can’t say enough good things! Pro tip: it’s a farm, wear boots

This Sniffspot was everything I hoped for! John was very welcoming, showed us around the land, and was so accommodating. Sirius (my dog) absolutely loved running around and exploring the beautiful grounds, and actually enjoyed playing in the water, which he normally avoids! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was our first time at this spot but it won't be our last. My dogs had a blast chasing each other, romping in the creek and exploring the trails. The space is away from all but one quiet country road and has natural barriers, so I never worried about the dogs escaping. The owner was very helpful and showed us the lay of the land when we arrived. My dogs were very interested in the farm animals when we crossed their pasture to get to the spot, but the animals were mellow and basically ignored the dogs. This is a really beautiful spot and well worth the time to get there.
