Welcome to the mountain! The drive up is beautiful, there’s a little general store on the corner to grab some snacks and beverages before you get to the house. Ample parking available. The entire back is fenced over 5 acres fully fenced with pond and pool (dogs allowed, duh!) fenced in. Hose, kiddie pool both available. We do have 2 very dog savvy horses but they can be put up if your dogs aren’t horse friendly! Our dogs will stay inside to allow yours to roam- they are all kept on monthly prevention for flea/tick and deworming and we expect that of you as well! Fear not, most of the time a 15+ ER vet tech would be on site and we have a pretty well stocked emergency kit! We run a dog and cat rescue so these funds will help rescue animals immensely! I can provide toys, bowls and towels. I have a large unfenced and flat yard that is great for fetch as well. If you want more of a primitive hiking experience, I have about 6.5 acres of trails that you are welcome to explore, including a stream that runs through my property. This area is not fenced, so most recommended for pets with strong recall, however it is still enjoyable with a leash. If you need to use the restroom or grab a drink, you are welcome in my home, just ask! If you would like your dogs to have a friend, I have two very friendly and socialized dogs who may be willing to play -- or I can keep them inside the house. I have goats, donkeys and chickens and if you have a herding dog, I am happy to open them up and let your dog try their skills, please ask before entering. Feel free to park anywhere in the driveway. Please be respectful of my property, and if you need anything at all from water, snacks, treats, toys, restroom, please ask.
