A private hiking trail for dogs and their owners 🐾 there will not be any other dogs out on the trail. Our trail is located in Bolton (Waterbury address). It’s is approximately 1 mile up the mountain. There is a Brook that follows the trail most of the way up. The trail starts out with a nice mowed path and leads you into a beautiful canopy of trees as you head into the woods and it quickly turns into a steep uphill hike. We have 135 acres for you to adventure on ! Please follow the signs for the trail head parking - go all the way past the house and you will see a sign on your right.

Big back yard that is fully fenced in. Fence is about 4 foot high. Your pup is welcome to join our pups for play or not, just coordinate with us in advance. We have a patio, grill, hot tub, outdoor shower, and fire pit for the humans to enjoy as well.

Visit a history rich upcoming farm located 9 minutes from I-89. This back country road boasts excellent recreation opportunities! Walk, bike or xc ski alongside the Bolton Mountain Range spring fed Mill Brook and enjoy the 360 views on the 4 acres of our farm’s lower field. Ever wonder how a farmer in the 1800’s would think to observe snow more closely?! Even if you are not someone who enjoys the cold, the forms of frozen water that we get here in the snow belt are unable to be described. My favorite season is summer but even the fall foliage doesn’t shake a stick at what it’s like to wake up to everything crystallized in our valley. It is mesmerizing. Thank you for waiting for mud season to wind down, we are open and there is a new gate to the field, left corner. (See photos) Repurposing our field fenced area, roughly an acre sized lot. We enjoy pups, having a pair of our own, they will be kept inside during your visit. The field is brush mowed, only one gate entrance (left corner looking from barn), bench and refuse bin provided. 65+/- acres. Mostly meadow but some woods as well. Has a river on the back border. Some spots may be marshy as the beavers have a dam.

Beautiful area of 8+ acres with beautiful Mountain View. Trail cut out for walking and very private. Also offering space for overnight tent camping with your four legged friend. Enjoy picking fresh raspberries in July/august and fresh apples off of our many apple trees in the fall.

One spot has a nice clearing perfect for frisbee, doggie zooms and other games, lot also includes plenty of exploring. The 2nd lot has more of a light hike feel to it with a slight incline on heavy wooded lot area. Wonderful opportunity to allow dogs with good recall to be off-leash. Great exercise for you and your friend. For a small deposit we offer use of glow-jacket (up to lab size) frisbees, tennis balls. Free poop bags and water. Being in the animal rescue business for over 20 years we welcome your friend. *Please note, only dogs would good recall are allowed off leash. We do have 30-5-' leashes for those pups that don't recall.
